Can you believe this weather?!
We know we said last week that we were expecting some snow, but we didn’t think we’d get THIS much. Seriously, what is this nonsense?! We totally did not sign up for this. And can we talk about how cold it’s been? Nuh-uh! What do we have to do in order for Mother Nature to bring back the mild temperatures and rainy weather we’re accustomed to?
But enough with this weather talk. We know why you’re all here, to look (and laugh) at the best tweets from your fave creators and, we have to say, we’ve got a pretty good group this time. They include commentary on the struggles of plant ownership, the rudeness that is calling someone at the break of dawn and the importance of meme culture. So, without further ado, let’s jump into it!
Literally the worst
researching the lowest rated retirement homes in the country as ammunition for the next time my mum tries to call me at 6am
— Daniel Howell (@danielhowell) February 3, 2019
We have multiple questions about this tweet, Daniel Howell:
1) What on earth did your mum need to talk to you about that early in the morning?
2) Have you had any luck in your quest in finding the lowest rated retirement home in the country?
Congrats!
right just got time to sit down and say a proper thank u and im fuming because i’ve used the term “i’m lost for words” (rare for me I know) so many times this week but I truly am. been wishing for this for years so to see it all happening – unreal. x
(wales is deffo rising imo) pic.twitter.com/fSfReqNY8Q

We had to include this tweet simply because we’re so excited for Becky James. The growth she’s seen over the past week is INSANE and we couldn’t be happier for her. If there’s one creator who deserves all this attention, it’s definitely her. Not only is her content A+, but she’s a pretty stellar person.

Riverdale is trash
You know those dumb games we used to play where we’d let predictive text finish a sentence for us? That’s how they write riverdale
— Calum McSwiggan (@CalumMcSwiggan) January 30, 2019
We don’t think truer words have ever been spoken about Riverdale, Calum McSwiggan. What even is this season? We want to stop watching, but for some reason we can’t look away.
The struggles of owning a plant
This just happened. Conor and Ben help me. pic.twitter.com/TScT6bl2zh
— Helen Anderson (@HelenAnderz) January 31, 2019
We don’t think there’s anything more difficult than taking care of a plant. Each one has its own needs and it’s near impossible to know how much to water is needed. Don’t worry, Helen Anderson, we totally understand this struggle.
We Brits are pretty passive aggressive
British people get their biggest power trip loudly whispering "you’re welcome” / “no problem" when someone doesn’t thank them for holding the door / allowing for them to pass on the stairs.
— ˗ˏˋ niki ˊˎ˗ (@NikiAlbon) February 2, 2019
This tweet is EVERYTHING, Niki Albon. Those who don’t say “thank you” when you hold a door open for them are lucky they don’t have the door slammed on their face. (Which we definitely don’t ever do, but always think about because we’re that petty.)
The meme life is eternal
This was in my drafts this morning. pic.twitter.com/SHME5dWQ3m

We’re glad to see you know what’s important in (after)life, Taha Khan.
We all had a favourite Spice Girl
the big problem with my life is that i always wanted to be baby spice but i'm actually ginger spice and i think i just have to accept that
— Connie Glynn (@connieglynn) February 2, 2019
We think everyone understands the pain of wanting to be one Spice Girl, but actually sharing the traits of another, Connie Glynn. We too always wished to be Baby Spice, but, sadly, it just wasn’t meant to be. We were always cast as Sporty whenever we hung out with our friends…
Where’s all the snow?
Friends: Yay! Snow!
Me: *is disappointed* pic.twitter.com/LKJ8gdCFJ4
— Gary C (@oohgaryc) February 1, 2019
We’re going to get a bit personal here, Gary C. This certain writer would love the minimal amount of snow you’ve received, instead of the -30°C temperatures and endless snow she’s been experiencing in Canada. Wanna trade? (Pretty please with sugar on top.)
This is a concerning dream
Having flashbacks to my dream where I was on ‘Lip Sync Battle’ and my song was Kiwi by Harry Styles and I proceeded to kick plastic baby dolls into the audience and then had to write an apology tweet because it was in ‘bad taste’.
— Phil Lester (@AmazingPhil) January 28, 2019
We’ve done the work of interpreting this dream for you, Phil Lester. According to Dream Moods, the kicking of the plastic baby dolls (which greatly concerns us) means you are trying to distance yourself from your past. *GASP* Could this have something to do with you changing the background of your videos?!
Adulthood is something
adulthood is desperately trying to keep on top of the laundry basket, and trying not to cry when you accidentally shrink your favourite jumper pic.twitter.com/lVXPQZv4Aq
— Em Ford (@mypaleskinblog) February 2, 2019
We don’t think we’ve seen a tweet that better describes adulthood, Em Ford. In fact, we think it can be used as a metaphor for adulthood in general.
So there you have it…
