There’s nothing better than true friendship. Sure, you might be happy about buying that dream item on sale or find excitement in eating the perfect kebab after a night out, but they both don’t top the feeling of having found a best friend. From making each other laugh until milk spills out of your noses to having someone to confide in when things get tough, there’s something special about the bond between BFFs.
Two of our favourite YouTube BFFs are Zoe Sugg and Mark Ferris. These two share a friendship we wish could have with those in our lives – it’s as if they were separated at birth – and the videos they’ve posted together have left us on the floor, dying of laughter. That’s why we’ve decided it’s time to celebrate their friendship by sharing some of our favourite moments.

When they tested out weird beauty products
The beauty world is filled with, how do we put this nicely, some pretty strange and odd products. Whether you’re looking for a faster way to apply your lipstick or are in need of a relaxing facial, there is definitely a weird beauty product out there with your name on it. But do they actually work? Leave it to Zoe and Mark to find out for us.
We oftentimes wonder how people come up with these products, given how outlandish they are, but we now feel like we have enough information about them decide if we want to try them out for ourselves. While we might give the eyebrow stamps a try if we’re in rush, we are seriously questioning why anyone would use those terrifying face masks. Oh, and don’t even get us started about the lip stickers!
Their cupcake bake off
Throughout their time on YouTube, Zoe and Mark have uploaded many a baking video, often leaving us with a craving for sweets that has us running to Tesco’s for some cake. Our favourite baking video of theirs? Their Halloween bake off, of course!
There are many things about this video we could comment on, but we feel we need to say we found ourselves relating to Mark throughout. Like him, we have absolutely no idea how to bake and would struggle immensely if told we had to compete against someone who’s pretty much a wiz in the kitchen. However, we do feel ours would turn out a bit better than Mark’s did. They certainly wouldn’t be seeping out butter once cooked, that’s for sure.
Their ultimate pizza taste test
Who doesn’t love pizza? In our opinion, it’s one of the best foods to have ever been invented. Whoever decided to combine bread, cheese and tomato sauce in this way deserves a medal and our eternal gratitude. But do we know which pizza is which? That’s exactly what Mark and Zoe tested in this video.
In order to decide who is the ultimate pizza fan, these two participated in a blind taste test of some of the best and most popular pizza chains, including Papa John’s, Dominos and Pizza Express. We won’t spoil who got the most correct, but we will agree with Zoe when she says Papa John’s has one of the most distinct flavours out of all the pizza brands.
(Side note: we totally set up our own in-office pizza taste test after watching this video.)
The love they have for each other
The one thing we love most about these two is how close their bond is. Whether they’re sharing their support for each other on social media or creating the funniest of YouTube collabs, they have a love for each other that runs deep and it really warms our hearts. Their friendship is a prime example of what it means to be supportive!
Now, if only we had a friendship that was as great as theirs!
Their autumn adventures
If you were to ask us which season is our favourite, we would definitely have to say autumn. Not only does it include our favourite day of the year, Halloween, but it’s a time made for big jumpers and playing in the leaves. You know who else are fans of this beautiful season? Zoe and Mark.
In this vlog uploaded Zoe’s second channel, we get to join the pair as they get ready for the season, which includes a shopping trip to grab some much needed decorations! The only thing that could have made this vlog better is if they’d visited a pumpkin patch, which is definitely one of our favourite autumn activities!
When they read fan fiction with Alfie
We’re not going to lie, fan fiction is something all its own. Sometimes it can be funny, other times endearing and the rest of the time it can get a bit… Strange. Given the rise in popularity of YouTube and its creators, there have been more and more stories written about our faves, including Zoe and Mark. That’s why we were dying of laughter while watching this video of them reading fan fiction with Alfie Deyes.
We’re wondering, though, if Alfie was correct about this being written by Mark and Zoe, as a way of telling him something… Just kidding, but THAT would be have been an unexpected turn of events!
When they reacted to their funniest moments
One of our favourite type of YouTube videos is when creators react to their old content. Not only is it a nostalgic trip down memory lane, but we often find ourselves cringing and laughing along with the person doing the reacting. (Oh, how we love that these moments are forever on video for everyone to look at.)
Since we love reaction videos so much, there was no way we could omit this video of Mark and Zoe reacting to their funniest moments! The pair have been BFFs for a long time now, so there’s plenty of material to look through. Those looking for nearly 30 minutes of pure laughter and entertainment need look no further than this video.

Their love of Christmas
If there are two creators who are completely obsessed with Christmas and the holiday season, it’s Zoe and Mark. As such, it’s pretty much guaranteed they get up to all sorts of shenanigans during the month of December.
Through various videos on the pairs channels and Zoe’s Vlogmas series, we’ve been able to catch a glimpse at just how these two get ready for the holidays. Whether they be singing Christmas carols or making the strangest (yet most delicious) of baubles, they really know how to get into the holiday spirit, and they leave us feeling quite festive as well.
When Mark did Zoe’s makeup
We all know Zoe got her start on YouTube by creating beauty tutorials and sharing with us her fashion knowhow, and we’ve loved watching her channel evolve to include videos featuring her friends and family doing her makeup. One person who attempted this not just once, but twice, is Mark.
So how did Mark do, you ask? Pretty well. Definitely better than Joe Sugg. While he did have a few issues actually getting the makeup to work (the foundation bit was hilarious), he actually managed to put together a look we ourselves wouldn’t be overly embarrassed to rock the next time we’re out on the town. Also, can we talk about the bants in this video? Not only did they leave the pair in giggles, we were laughing ourselves!
How do we become friends with these two?
They look like they have the best of times whenever they get together and we want to get in on the action! Mark and Zoe, do you mind if we tag along on your next outing? We promise we’re oodles of fun!
