We’ve been thinking a lot about our favourite movies lately.
Recently, many of our favourite YouTubers have been taking part in the #20MovieChallenge created by legendary director Ron Howard. To participate, you’re to share a still from 20 movies that have had a impact on you, but the catch is you can’t name or write about them. It’s been interesting seeing the films our faves have chosen to share, with many not coming as any surprise to us. (Such as Sammy Paul‘s love for Amélie.) It’s made us think about the movies that have had an impact on us, such as various Hitchcock productions and some Studio Ghibli classics.
That’s one of the reasons why we like Twitter. It allows for users to share so much about them in little to no words. And when words are used, they tend to be pretty great. Don’t believe us? Then keep on reading, for we’ve collected 10 of the best YouTuber tweets from the past week. From some questionable script writing to cats ruining dinner, the following tweets are definitely something.
Well, that was (and still is) embarrassing…
Wide awake cringing over embarrassing things I did years ago 😒
— Jamie Raines (@jammi_dodger94) January 18, 2019
Ugh, if only you knew how many times we did this, Jamie Raines… For some reason, that one time we tripped and fell down the stairs at the Tube station in front of everyone still haunts us to this day.
Wallace and vomit
i just want everyone to know that in a script i'm currently writing, a character says 'wallace and vomit'
thank you for your time x

This is the quality content we signed up for when we became a fan of your films, Bertie Gilbert.
All we want to do is dance
Top skills I’ve mastered in uni library ===
suppressing the urge to dance when Spotify shuffle hits a banger pic.twitter.com/pY5jTsrFdP— YouTube : Miss Varz (@missvarz) January 15, 2019
We feel this, Varaidzo Kativhu. There’s nothing harder than resisting the urge to dance in a public place, especially when a banger comes on shuffle.
What is a ghost writer?
I literally used to think a ghost writer was a spirit that wrote on walls. 👻
— Joe Tasker (@JoeTasker) January 16, 2019
There’s something amusing about picturing ghost writers as actual ghosts who make a living writing scary messages on the walls of the houses they haunt. Thank you for the image, Joe Tasker.
Uh oh…
I’ve agreed to be handcuffed to my sister for 24 hours starting in the morning. She may be dead come Saturday…fair warning 😂👍🏻

We CANNOT wait to watch this video, Melanie Murphy! Did you both make it out alive?
Cartoons over live action
Every time they announce a live action remake of an animated show / movie I love, I get very excited for all of about 30 seconds until I remember I much prefer cartoons, and live action remakes are always worse
— Connie Glynn (@connieglynn) January 17, 2019
We don’t think we’ve ever read a more true opinion about live action remakes, Connie Glynn.
PJs are so much better than regular clothes
Does anybody else start thinking about how excited they are to get into their pjs again around lunch time??
— M O L L Y (@beauty_spectrum) January 15, 2019
Lunch time? That’s FAR too late for us to be thinking about getting back in our PJs, Molly Thompson. We normally start getting excited around breakfast, if we even manage get out of our PJs to begin with.
There goes dinner…
My cat just sat on my freshly chopped parsley… 🤣 ffs. pic.twitter.com/kzoHhj2YPf

That’s one way to ensure you won’t be hungry for dinner, Cherry Wallis.
This is the correct way to make tea
if you don’t make your tea:
teabag
water
steep
remove teabag
(maybe add sugar)
finish with the milkyou’re wrong
— ˗ˏˋ niki ˊˎ˗ (@NikiAlbon) January 20, 2019
This is one of the few times you’re actually right, Niki Albon. (Don’t get us started on your food tier tweets.) Those who put the milk in before removing the teabag are monsters and need to re-evaluate their lives.
Life isn’t as exciting as it looks
I try to make my life look as exciting as possible on social media but really it’s mostly just me quietly singing the jurassic park theme tune to myself while eating cold leftover chinese food
— Calum McSwiggan (@CalumMcSwiggan) January 17, 2019
You may think your life outside of social media sounds mundane, Calum McSwiggan, but we can assure you that ours is much more dull. While you’re singing the Jurassic Park theme song and eating cold leftovers, we’re sitting by the window by ourselves, wishing we actually had lives.
So there you have it…
