Announcing the news on Twitter, dodie shared the excitement of having her music included in a film soundtrack for the first time:

Free Rein: The Twelve Neighs of Christmas is a feature length Christmas special episode for the UK Netflix original series Free Rein. The film follows teenager Zoe, her horse Raven, and their friends from Bright Fields Stables as they prepare to celebrate the holiday season with a Mistletoe Ball.
6/10 is taken from dodie’s second EP You, released in 2017. The track can be heard towards the end of the film, at the 48 minute mark.

dodie is due to release her third EP, Human, on 18 January 2019. Two singles from the EP have been shared in anticipation of its release, including If I’m Being Honest and title track collaboration with Tom Walker, Human.
