There’s nothing a good laugh can’t solve.
In our opinion, comedy is one of the best forms of medicine. Whenever we’re in need of a pick-me-up, we check out our favourite comedy specials or hit up our most hilarious friend. You know what else we do? We turn to YouTube. One look through our subscription box offers up oodles of comedy gold, with sketches, hilarious vlogs and some ill-fated adventures. However, our faves just don’t show off their comedy chops on YouTube. They also extend it to the Twitterverse, something we’re eternally grateful for.
From a spooky urban legend to a distaste for human interaction, this edition of Tweets of the Week is sure to bring the laughs! (And keep you coming back for more.) Without further ado, let’s jump into it!
She deserves it
Mum just won £180 on a scratch card and come up stairs and screams ‘give me a high five’ *puts hand up* ‘put it there – put it f***ing there’ then jumped up and down I’m actually dead

Your mum is so cute, Anastasia Kingsnorth. We’re so happy for her!
OMG, SO CUTE

— Jack Howard (@JackHoward) November 9, 2018
How could we not include these absolutely adorable photos of Jack Howard and the cutest doggo in the world?!
How do you math?
I just saw a guy on the bus take out his phone and open the calculator app to check that 1,000 divided by 100 is 10.
— Jacob Trueman (@TheJacobTrueman) November 5, 2018
It’s instances like this (amongst other things) that have us deeply worried about the current state of society, Jacob Trueman.
So emotional
I often wonder if @jk_rowling ever feels emotional listening to the soundtracks for Fantastic Beasts… especially the first time listening. They are seriously strong pieces of music, for an entire world she has created.
It must be overwhelming, in the best way.
— Cherry Wallis (@CherryWallis) November 9, 2018
We think everyone gets emotional listening to any album from the Harry Potter universe, Cherry Wallis. We’re not even talking about the first listen. We mean whenever they listen to it they tear up, because it’s just so magical.
Milk or nothing
I bought so many nice cereals from the store yesterday but forgot to buy milk so water it is
— Evan Edinger (@EvanEdinger) November 10, 2018
This tweet offended us on multiple levels, Evan Edinger.
BRILLIANT
entering my cat into competitions for cat modelling jobs is my new hobby
come on nelson, bring the cash home. let your mum retire at 24
— GABRIELLA 🌨 (@velvetgh0st) November 7, 2018
This is a GREAT idea, Gabriella Lindley! Our office cat is totally runway ready. (If only she’d stop shedding so much – cat hair-covered clothes are so not a look.)
Literally us

We relate to this on a spiritual level, Niki Albon.
Say it three times
There’s an urban legend going around that if you say Roly 3 times in the mirror I appear behind you and pierce your face 100 times.
— Roly (@RolyUnGashaa) November 7, 2018
We doubt this is simply an urban legend, Roly West…
When you hate human interaction
i just drove for 45 minutes to find a drive thru so i didn’t have to face people today 😭 pic.twitter.com/NVvgES4DWa
— Raphael Gomes (@raphablueberry) November 11, 2018
Raphael Gomes is a pro when it comes to avoiding human interaction. Need some pointers? Hit him up!
(PS. We’ve totally driven a long ways to a drive thru, just so we didn’t have to actually enter a restaurant and interact with people.)
Wow…
I don’t wanna toot my own horn or anything but it takes someone proper talented to manage to lock themselves INSIDE of their house
— Luna ☾ (@Lunalxigh) November 7, 2018
Good job, Luna Leigh. *Infinite slow clapping*
