Louis Cole and Adrian Bliss are amongst the creators to take home awards at the second annual Buffer Festival Gala Award Show.
The awards show, which was held on 30 September at Toronto’s St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, followed the festival’s sixth annual four-day event. Similar to last year, winners were decided through a public voting system, where attendees could vote on every video shown throughout the festival. Instead of ranking the videos, they were asked to share what they thought stood out the most, from the creativity to the moral and/or message shared.

Many UK YouTubers were in attendance at the awards show, with Adrian Bliss and Louis Cole taking home awards for their videos. Louis was presented with the Festival Honour award for the teaser of his upcoming world flight documentary, which he created with pilot J-P Schulze. Adrian Bliss took home the award for Excellence In Performance for his video, Finding Yourself with Adrian Bliss.

In total, nine awards were handed out. Along with the aforementioned winners, Jon Cozart took home the award for Excellence In Writing, while Anna Akana won for Excellence In Production for her short film, Dolor.
