The event will be held in November at Shoreditch Town Hall in London
Carrie Hope Fletcher has recently confirmed that she will be attending the UK’s first ever Stagecon convention. The event will take place from 3-4 November 2018 and will allow theatre fans to see performances, attend panels and meet West End performers.
After having just finished SitC, I am so thrilled to be a part of the UK convention for THEATRE called StageCon! How exciting is that?! https://t.co/B2KDlf7uKg

Carrie has confirmed via Twitter that she will only be attending the Sunday of the event, as she is soon to be returning to her role of Veronica Sawyer in Heathers the Musical as it embarks on its West End transfer to the Royal Haymarket.
Tickets for Stagecon are £85 per day, and are available to purchase via Eventbrite. A portion of the event’s profits will also be donated to The Royal Theatrical Fund, which works to provide support for people of all ages who have worked in the entertainment industry.
Other performers who have been announced are Christina Bennington, Cameron Blakely, Samantha Bond, Sophie Evans and Scott Paige. More names and events will be announced in the lead up to the convention.
Update: The organisers of StageCon UK have announced that the convention is to be postponed until 2019.
James Yeoburn, UK general manager for StageCon, said in a statement: “We have listened to the feedback received in the weeks since launching and recognise that ticket prices and lead time have prohibited many of the most loyal fans from being able to attend.
“It is important that we acknowledge that feedback, and work with our industry partners to make the requisite changes to allow for greater accessibility.”
Mr Yeoburn went on to add: “We are sorry to not have the chance to share the exciting programme of events and performances developed for November, but look forward to presenting this with ample notice for next year.
“United Theatrical are delighted to be leading the StageCon that everybody has waited for, including us!”
