Announced as part of a BBC Radio 1 broadcast, Joe becomes the fourth contestant revealed for the competitive dance show.
Joining Red Dwarf star, Danny John-Jules; Steps singer, Faye Tozer, and broadcaster Katie Piper; Joe will be competing in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Joe says in a statement, “I don’t really know what I’m doing, to be honest, I know it will be a huge challenge but that’s what life is all about, I guess”
So this is actually happening!.. Thank you so much!! The support has been unreal! I can’t dance but hopefully I’ll do you all proud and you can make some great memes out of me 😂👌🏼💃🏻🕺🏼❤️ thanks @bbcstrictly for giving me this opportunity ✨ pic.twitter.com/IusK0ESSTq

Joe added on his Twitter, “The support has been unreal! I can’t dance but hopefully, I’ll do you all proud and you can make some great memes out of me”
Additionally, BBC Three released a behind-the-scenes video with Joe when the announcement went out, stating, “On Strictly we all have code names, and I was Feta, which actually means that I’m going to be on Strictly [Come Dancing] this year, dancing which I can’t do very well.
“I’m very, very nervous, and very excited. We will see how it goes, see how long I’ll last. Hopefully, I’ll make it past the first or second week.”
