Heatwaves are great, but can it, like, stop now?
In the last week, a saying has come to the minds of many, “Too much of a good thing.” The weather has been great, sunny and hot, without many clouds in the sky, but some of us have to work and our uniforms are not built for the heat. Black is slimming, but it’s also sweating. Cut it out, world!
The World Cup is still with us and it’s also heating up. A lot of the favourites have been knocked out – Germany, Spain, Portugal and Argentina are no more – and that’s great for everyone else. Come on, England!
On to the Round-Up!
COOK OFF AGAINST SORTED FOOD with Grace Helbig & Mamrie Hart | This Might Get
This Might Get is a new show from Studio71, presented by Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart. We seriously can’t get enough of it. Monday to Friday. A show a day. What’s not to love!
This episode is extra special, as it features our boys from SORTEDfood as guests. There’s a food challenge that will probably make the strongest of stomachs turn. (It sure made ours.) This video gives us a weird, surreal, Ready Steady Cook vibe and we are totally here for it. Enjoy!
What’s His Face | Jack and Dean
It’s that time again, time for a new sketch from our comedy favourites, Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs. At least, we think it’s from them… Our memory is kind of hazy. What we do know it’s by whatshisface and whatshisname. You know them, right?
We’d like to tell you what the sketch is about, but it appears we’ve completely forgotten… So watch the video and enjoy it yourself. Also, once you find out, would you mind reminding us? Thanks in advance!
rainbow – original song | doddleoddle
As of writing this Round-Up, Pride Month has officially come to an end, but that won’t stop anyone from celebrating their true self. dodie is back at it again on the original song train with Rainbow, a beautiful song that, in her own words, is “about the shame that a lot of LGBTQ+ people go through, and therefore why Pride is so great and important”.
We, like everyone else and their mother, are excited for what you have coming in the future, dodie. And, yes, In The Middle is the biggest of bops and is still in heavy rotation at TenEighty HQ.
PRETTY LITTLE THING x MAYA JAMA | HAUL + TRY ON | Alisha Jasmine
Maya Jama is killing it right now. Back in the day, she used to be on the ol’ YouTubes with Copa90 and now, now she’s a bigtime Radio 1 DJ and model for brands like Gap. Did you know she’s also part of a bigtime celebrity couple? Guys, she’s bigtime. Her next step is a collaboration with Pretty Little Thing on this 90s-inspired collection.
Alisha Jasmine‘s latest upload is a haul/try-on video with the pieces she managed to get before they all sold out. She gives us her thoughts and feelings about all of them, looking great while doing so! A new addition to our sub box, we’re looking forward to more.
My Midwife Story | MOTHERHOOD | AD | Louise Pentland
Louise Pentland has been pregnant once or twice, if you didn’t know. Part of the whole being pregnant thing is giving birth and that requires a few helping hands. There are partners, there are doctors, but perhaps, most importantly, there are midwives. They are the angels who help countless amounts of women through something that can be quite scary.
This video is talking about a campaign to thank midwives for all they do, as it has been said that one in three feel underappreciated for their work. Louise talks about her experiences and it’s wonderful to hear her talk about something so important.
Want more? Of course, you do!
Caspar Lee is in a new relationship and this one has an added layer of intrigue. This time around, he’s dating a fan. It’s not exactly as easy as that, but we will leave that for you to discover in this new video. Enjoy it for the candid honesty.
Mikey Pearce has gathered a bunch of his mates for a rousing good time. It’s all in the name of Come Dine With Me. There’s Oli White, Jack Maynard and many more. The menu has nachos on it, so you know we at TenEighty are a big fan of what’s on offer.
Joe Weller is back with a new video and this time it’s about the biggest event in YouTube for 2018: the boxing fight between KSI and Logan Paul, which we’re all looking forward to for our own specific reasons. It’s great to see Joe back on form with a topic that is ripe for the picking!
Joe Sugg has started his own management company with Caspar Lee, Margravine Management, and the pair have announced their first few signings to the roster, which include Mark Ferris! In this vlog he explains all about it. Enjoy all the industry talk – we sure did!
