The Midnight Beast have announced a five-date UK tour.
The Midnight Beast, the British trio of Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely, and Ashley Horne, who combine genuine musical ability with comedy flair. The three Londoners first received mainstream recognition with their parody of Ke$ha’s “TiK Tok” and became a viral hit.
When TenEighty asked if The Midnight Beast could give us any hints as to what to expect from their tour Ash said: “You’ll be pleased to know we will be playing all the classics among all the bangers from our new album. A Midnight Beast show wouldn’t be the same without a dance routine or two and a few inflatable dicks thrown into the crowd. I’d still pay good money to see a late thirties Dru Wakely Teddy Bear roll around the stage to TiK ToK Parody.”

While touring isn’t enjoyable for some, the boys seem excited to go back out on tour. Dru told us: “We LOVE touring! I think it’s one of the best parts of being in a band. You get to travel and enjoy different cities but also you get to meet so many cool people at the shows. We’ve always put a lot of effort into our live shows and tours so watching people go nuts and have a good time is an awesome feeling.”
However excited the boys are, touring is a complicated venture when you run your own label. Stef added: “These are the first live dates we’ve done in a little while so we’re really keen to keep the Beast moving after this tour! The best part of running our own label is we get to do whatever we like but the hardest part is there’s no tour support so if you want us to come to play in your hometown have a word with your local venue and bring all your buddies… there are still too many fans we haven’t had the chance to high five yet!”
The Tour Nobody Asked For will run from 20-26 September 2018. Tickets are on sale now via myticket.co.uk.
