Whether it’s under her previous Sprinkle of Glitter branding or her real name, Louise Pentland is always at the ready to brighten our day. The ultimate friend, mother, woman and icon, there’s nothing she can’t blow us away with when she sets her mind to it… Which explains why we’re completely obsessed with her!
As everyone could be wise to live more like Louise, we’ve compiled a list of just 10 of our favourite moments featuring her! From her hilarious LouiseLIVE tour to the love she has for her two daughters, we can guarantee you’ll be in love with Louise by the time you hit the end of this article.
Her LouiseLIVE tour
LouiseLIVE is definitely a gem within Louise’s professional crown. Warm-hearted, genuinely funny, inspirational and filled with honestly, it was a magical time and we’re so proud of what Louise was able to achieve.
From it’s humble beginnings as a lovely little Q&A session in a not-so-small room at YouTube conventions to full-on events at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre, Louise didn’t shy away from discussing how uncomfortable events can make her and emphasised the importance of creating something relaxing and intimate. This was evident throughout both the earlier GlitterTime and every performance of LouiseLIVE.
We can only hope Louise will return with another run of tales soon! Until then, we’ll continue to keep our LouiseLIVE DVD on repeat.
Her “self-proposal”

Body image and confidence are major concerns for young people, especially in today’s social media age, and one message Louise has always conveyed to her audience is to love yourself and be real. The ceremony itself is one of the most spine-tingling moments we can recall in YouTube history (we’re getting emotional just thinking about it), firmly earning it’s place as one of our favourite Louise moments.

Rebranding from Sprinkle of Glitter
Who didn’t feel a slight panic when they saw this video pop up in their subscription box? Louise’s rebranding of her channel may have come as a surprise to some fans, but with it came a a new Louise, one of raw honesty, feistiness, ambition, ideas and courage.
It felt sad to bid farewell to Sprinkle of Glitter, but there was no doubt with the release of this video that a new age of empowerment was just around the corner!
Wilde Like Me
Louise has always had a natural flare for writing, whether it be a blog post or Life With a Sprinkle of Glitter, so there was no question her debut novel, Wilde Like Me, would be a huge success. As heartfelt, warm and chatty as its author, we couldn’t have been prouder of Louise when this officially hit bookshelves across the UK, especially when it resulted in a whole host of strong reviews and a subsequent appearance at the Cheltenham Literary Festival
Also, did you know it became a Sunday Times #1 Bestseller? That’s our Louise! We can’t wait to see what the next installment has in store for Robin Wilde.
Not Worth Watching
Never has a video filmed in the car felt so nostalgic!
Not Worth Watching continues to cement itself as one of the most fun series on YouTube. Considering we’re so used to scripted or semi-scripted content nowadays, this freestyle nature is a refreshing, almost visual palate cleanser, and this edition with Zoe Sugg (along with Jim Chapman, Alfie Deyes and Marcus Butler – bonus!) makes us feel as though we’re in the car with them!
Her friendships with other YouTubers
Okay, okay, we admit this isn’t a moment specifically, but we struggled to cut this one out.
Whether it’s revealing to her friends that she was pregnant once again, battling it out with Alfie in the ultimate Zoella test, teaching Daniel Howell and Phil Lester about pregnancy terminology or surprising her friend Esther with a trip to the Brits, we’re all about Louise’s genuinely heart-warming friendships with her fellow creators.

From watching Darcy grow up to following her pregnancy journey with baby Pearl over the last few months, Louise is the mum we all aspire to be. Full of wisdom, fantastic advice, positivity and humour, there’s no denying she’s the mum of YouTube (and our second mum), and we’re head over heels for the Pentland family.

You obviously knew we were going to include a lookbook!
As the ultimate fashion guru, whether you’re dressing up or dressing down, there’s always inspiration to be found in Louise’s wardrobe. We adore her approach to body positivity and the advice she offers her audience, which is why her Simply Be fashion line was a massive hit to both our eyes and bank balance!
Taking TV and radio by storm
From playing Innuendo Bingo with Chris Stark and Scott Mills (pro tip: don’t drink or eat while watching – you’ll 100% choke) and giving Amanda Holden advice on packing travel essentials, to choosing Harry Potter as her specialist subject on Celebrity Mastermind, it’s pretty fair to say Louise has put her cheery stamp on mainstream media.
Interviewing Ed Miliband!
In all honesty, we just LOVE that this even happened!
The internet’s favourite Miliband brother and politician was lucky enough to sit down with Louise in 2015 to talk about why people should vote. It was no doubt a turning point in Louise’s YouTube career, with her presenting such a serious, yet engaging discussion without losing her trademark positivity and sincerity. We totally adore her for using her position to encourage and help other people.
