Daniel J. Layton has announced that he is writing his debut book, Baking with Layton.
The book will be a companion to Daniel’s YouTube series of the same name.
It will include recipes from episodes in the series, as well as in-jokes, notes on his relationship with food, and why Dan likes to bake.
Dan revealed in his announcement video that he hopes the book will be “a mood-lifter, inclusive, warm, and welcoming.
“It’s going to be illustrated,” he added. “I have a dear friend of mine who is going to illustrate moments from the series.
“I want this process to be as open and transparent, and as shared as possible, so obviously I’m going to be documenting it in my monthly vlog. I’m going to be sharing how the writing goes. I’m recipe testing, I’m having meetings with collaborators, and I want you to be a part of that.”
