Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs will work on a new digital series as part of the Sundance Institute and YouTube’s New Voices Lab.
In a post on the Sundance Film Festival’s Facebook page, it has been revealed that Jack and Dean are New Voices Lab Fellows, and will work on an original digital series whilst taking part in the programme.
The New Voices Lab is a collaboration between the Sundance Institute and YouTube, and will see 12 creators or collaborative teams develop their ideas and meet with experienced content producers.

“The programme begins with a four-day Lab, where Fellows participate in creative workshops led by notable Sundance Advisors to develop their storytelling skills,” Sundance explains. “Later, the Fellows participate in a two-day Lab in Los Angeles, where they work with writers, showrunners, and producers to hone their projects through one-on-one story meetings, writers rooms, and group conversations about production, post-production, and marketing.”
Announcing the news on Twitter, Jack says he is “proper excited” to take part in the programme:

Jack later shared an image of the script for Parentsitting, which appears to show the first draft being completed on 2 January this year.
Dean also commented on the news on Twitter:

Jack says he hopes people will be able to see the series “one day”.
