YouTube has updated the design of its Silver and Gold Creator Awards.
Previously framed, the awards now take the form of an engraved metallic plaque. The YouTube play button logo is still featured.
The new awards will be made from steel, when previously they were made from silver- and gold-plated brass.
The designs complement the multi-dimensional Diamond Creator Award, which has a crystal centre.
The Silver Award is presented to creators who have amassed 100,000 subscribers, while the Gold Award recognises those with one million subscribers. The Diamond Award, reserved for the platform’s largest creators, rewards the achievement of gaining ten million subscribers.
YouTube introduced the updated Silver and Gold Creator Awards in a video featuring clips of stars like Maya Gibson, James Corden, and Shonduras receiving their plaques:

The new Silver and Gold YouTube Creator Awards will be presented to eligible creators from 29 March 2018.
