Happy Easter!
In need of some baking tips for the Easter period? Maybe you want to show off and impress your family with your amazing recipe ideas? Well, you’ve come to the right place! From vegan treats to nest cupcakes, we’ve got you covered! Just as we did last year, we’ve put together a handful of videos guaranteed to turn you from an amateur to a baking extraordinaire!
So why are we still talking? It’s Five More of the Best: Easter Baking!
Baking Cute Easter Nest Cupcakes | Tanya Burr
Easter is the perfect opportunity to bake cupcakes for both yourself and your family (and us, if you wouldn’t mind sending some our way – we’d be eternally grateful), which is why we’re glad Tanya Burr is always up for sharing her tasty recipes with us!
In this Easter-themed video, Tanya shows us a simple yet delicious recipe for baking the perfect Easter cupcakes, complete with chocolate flakes and Mini Eggs. (Which are, FYI, the best Easter sweets.) Seriously, what more could you want?!
3 EASY EASTER VEGAN RECIPES | Niomi Smart
Finding recipes to fit specific dietary needs can be difficult, especially when it comes to Easter baking. But fear not, because Niomi Smart has shared three easy vegan recipes anyone can try out!
When Niomi thinks of Easter, she thinks of three things: chocolate, carrot cake, and crumble. (Funnily enough, so do we!) And of course, she’s incorporated these into her recipes. From easy-to-make bunny-shaped chocolates and carrot cake porridg, to rhubarb crumble, these recipes are perfect for any Easter baker AND they’re super delicious! Now to grab our aprons and give them a try for ourselves!
Homemade Easter Eggs DIY | Queer Cooking | Roly
Ever wanted to make your own Easter eggs, but weren’t sure exactly how to go about it? Well, have no fear because our friend Roly West and pal Kieran are here to show you how it’s done.
Our favourite thing about this recipe is that we can use whatever type of chocolate we want. Are we feeling some Cadbury creaminess, or would we much rather have some bubbly Aero? Why are we even having to choose?! Why not have both! From there, all you need are some cute egg-shaped moulds and a friend to make the eggs with – this easy idea is perfect to do with friends and/or family over the Easter season! Just be sure they don’t sneakily eat any of the melted chocolate while you’re not looking…
How to make EASTER EGGS! | SORTEDfood
Once again, the lads over at SORTEDfood have managed to create the most mouth-watering Easter eggs. Seriously, we’re totes jealous of their skills! With a simple step-by-step guide, these guys show us how to create these insanely beautiful eggs, filled with the best filling known to earth: fudge. (Don’t fight us on this one.) We guarantee you can’t look at the end product and not salivate.
We can’t stop craving it!
Quick and Easy Easter Treats | Nikki Lilly
Closing out this Easter’s Five of the Best is the one and only Nikki Lilly, who offers not one, but three recipes guaranteed to leave us on a sugar rush all weekend! Creme Egg brownies, chocolate bark, and rocky road? Yes, please!
Seriously, we didn’t know you could incorporate Creme Eggs into so many recipes, but you’d be surprised! All the recipes Nikki offers up in this video are easy to do and fun for the whole family! Also, can we talk about how good that chocolate bark looks? Nikki, if you haven’t done so already, we highly suggest selling it to the public. We’d totally buy your entire stock.
Words by Maddy Jennings and Clare Fitzgerald.
