Jen Campbell has announced a sequel to her 2017 children’s book Franklin’s Flying Bookshop.
The new title, Franklin and Luna Go To The Moon, is set for release on 20 September 2018.
Jen‘s story will be illustrated by returning artist Katie Harnett.
Jen’s official website explains that “Luna’s best friend, Franklin, is a dragon. They love to read stories about everything from trampolining to deep-sea diving. One day, they are reading about where werewolves live and Franklin begins to wonder where he is from. He is 605 years old and has no idea where to find other dragons!”
The website adds that the book is about “the joys of reading, exploring, and coming home”, and aims to “bring the magic of classic fairytales into the twenty-first century”.
