Fans React to #DirtOutOnMarch16th

But Emma, why are you holding a lemon?

Show of hands: who else is stoked for Emma Blackery to release her new single, Dirt, on 16 March? You can bet we’ll be staying up until midnight on release day in order to be one of the first to hear it! (And then tweet incessantly about it.)

To help spread the word about the single’s release, Emma has urged fans to tweet using the hashtag #DirtOutOnMarch16th. More specifically, she’s asked for them to send her videos of them biting into lemons. (Because she’s holding a lemon in the single’s artwork – get it?)

And from biting into lemons to getting creative with their profile pictures, Emma’s fans have been out in full force promoting the upcoming single, so we decided to share some of our fave posts. Prepare for some lemonade.

Way to go, @ash23817, for getting the whole family involved! We’re pretty sure we’d never be able to convince our loved ones to bite into a lemon, even if it meant promoting our fave’s new song.
