Tom and Giovanna Fletcher are the authors of Eve of Man, the first book of a planned trilogy, which will be published later this year.
A teaser trailer released on Tom’s YouTube channel and Facebook page revealed that the book is about a world where no girls have been born for 50 years, until Eve.
The video description reads: “Against all odds, she survived, the first girl born in 50 years. They called her Eve.”
A full trailer is coming “soon”, and Tom has posted a behind-the-scenes picture to Twitter:

Although it isn’t Tom or Giovanna’s first book, Eve of Man is their first together, and the time either of them has written in the science-fiction genre.
Giovanna has written a number of romance novels and autobiographical works, while Tom has put out a number of children’s books.
The Eve of Man comes out on 31 May and is available for preorder through Amazon, WHSmith, and Waterstones.
