If you could have any two creators collab, who would they be?
YouTube is home to various types of content, from vlogs and challenge videos to musical covers and GRWMs. But out of all the options available, our hands-down favourite type of video would have to be collabs (in case you couldn’t tell from a recent Five of the Best!).
When it comes to videos, we think the more, the merrier, and collab videos allow us to watch our faves come together to create some quality (and often hilarious) content. However, while watching these videos, we’re always left wondering who our faves will collab with next, and our minds race with who we’d like to see work together. In fact, we’ve had such a hard time slowing our minds down as of late that we thought we might as well share our dream collabs with you all.
Who knows, maybe our faves will see this list and take our suggestions into consideration!
Suli Breaks and Dottie James
Poetry and spoken word fans will be aware of the works of Suli Breaks and Dottie James. Each has a way with words we can only dream of and their videos always leave us with a lot to think about. So could there be a better collab than these two?
Imagine it: the poem to end all poems, paired with Dottie’s ability to create the perfect video aesthetic. Sounds pretty sweet, right?
Carrie Hope Fletcher and Hazel Hayes
Is it just us or do you think a Tipsy Talk with Hazel Hayes and Carrie Hope Fletcher would be amazing? We love this idea so much that we’re simply itching for these two to collab! Given the varied experiences they’ve had and their different perspectives on the world, we think a video together would be filled with a lot of laughs, storytimes, and deep talks – things we’re always down for.
Carrie and Hazel, what do we have to do to make this happen?
TomSka and NerdCubed
We’re still confused how this collab hasn’t happened, considering they’ve been teasing a possible one on social media. What we wouldn’t give to see Daniel Hardcastle make an appearance in one of Tom Ridgewell‘s sketches (or even asdfmovie), or to hear Tom’s commentary on one of Dan’s gaming videos!
Please, please, please, can the YouTube gods make this happen?
dodie and Daniel Howell
We know you’ve always wished dodie and Daniel Howell would collab – we’ve seen the tweets from those of you wishing they’d come together for a music-themed video – and we’re totally with you.
Not up for a musical collab? No worries. We’re sure the two could make a hilarious video talking about their most awkward moments (from their tweets, we know they have quite a few) or maybe dodie could make a cameo on Dan’s Internet Support Group. Honestly, the possibilities are endless.
Zoella and Melanie Murphy
We feel this pairing is basically a collab in the making. Both Zoe Sugg and Melanie Murphy have stated they’re fans of each other’s content, so we say they film a video together the next time Melanie is in the UK.
Given that both share a love of beauty and have oodles of advice to offer their fans on topics like mental health and self-confidence, we can see this being a collab that not only is entertaining to watch, but would help viewers in more ways that one.
Niomi Smart and Victoria Magrath
We’re sure we’re not the only ones wishing Niomi Smart and Victoria Magrath would film a video together. Given that the two post similar content on their channels, from beauty tutorials and style hauls to the occasional lifestyle video, the possibilities are endless for a collab between them.
Niomi and Victoria, what do we have to do to make this collab a reality?
Raphael Gomes and SORTEDfood
In case you didn’t know, we here at TenEighty are massive foodies. If we were given the choice between spending the night eating the best food the world has to offer or getting to meet our favourite celeb, we’d go with the food option. We appreciate a nicely cooked meal, complete with our favourite toppings.
Because of our love of food, we see no better collab occurring than one between Raphael Gomes and the lads of SORTEDfood. We’d love to see the boys partake in one of Raphael’s 24-hour food challenges, or even for Raphael to participate in one of their famous food battles. We think either option would be a bants-filled time.
Grace Victory and Patricia Bright
To be honest, we’re surprised these two have yet to collab! Grace Victory and Patricia Bright have been making huge waves on YouTube with their channels, discussing topics such as beauty and fashion as well as sharing their own life experiences. A lot of what they cover overlaps and as such we feel a collab is well in order.
We can picture it now. Please, make this a reality, Grace and Patricia.
Jim Chapman and Robin James
Considering Jim Chapman and Robin James are the two most stylish guys we know, we definitely think this collab would be a memorable one. Whether it be a video of the pair sharing with us some fashion tips, a challenge video, or something in-between, we know it’d be one we’d be incapable of resisting!
Who can we get in touch with to make this happen?
The Luna Diaries and Cherry Wallis
Harry Potter fans would rejoice if a video featuring both The Luna Diaries and Cherry Wallis appeared in their sub boxes. We dare you to find two creators more obsessed about Harry Potter than these two – take your time, we’ll wait – and a collab between them would certainly be a magical experience! We can only imagine the shenanigans they’d get up to whilst talking about their love for the Wizarding World.
We need this video ASAP!
So there you have it…
The YouTube collabs we so desperately wish would happen. Oh, what we wouldn’t give for our faves to collab and make our dreams a reality! Which creators would you like to see film a video together? Send a tweet to @TenEightyUK and let us know. We’d love to hear your suggestions!
