The nominees for the tenth annual Shorty Awards have been announced.
Since 2008, the Shorty Awards have honoured the best of social media by recognising influencers across a variety of different platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and musical.ly.
For the 2018 Shorty Awards, categories range from Arts & Entertainment to Tech & Innovation.
Nominated UK creators include Julius Dein, Michael Dapaah, and Leslie Wai.

In the “Team Internet” section of the awards, there are categories such as YouTube Comedian, Breakout YouTuber, and Creator of the Decade.
UK nominees are featured under YouTube Musician and Breakout YouTuber against US creators including Elle Mills, MattyBRaps, and Luke Korns.

Previous winners of Shorty Awards include Bry and Charlie McDonnell.
Voting closes on February 22 2018, and the winners will be annoucned on April 15 2018 in New York City. The awards show will also be streamed live.
