If there’s one thing we love, it’s a good YouTube series.
We’re totally here for anything that makes us laugh and have a good time. You know who else we love? Hannah Witton. And what better way to merge the two than to write an article about one of Hannah’s most successful series: Drunk Advice!
Just as we did with Hazel Hayes‘s Tipsy Talk, we’re going to share with you our all-time favourite Drunk Advice episodes. But, before we do, you have to familiarise yourself with the rules:
1) Be drunk. If you don’t drink, be in the spirit of drunk.
2) Have a friend with you.
3) Don’t take the advice given.
Now that we’ve gotten the basics out of the way, let’s jump into it! We suggest grabbing a glass of your favourite alcoholic drink (or non-alcoholic, if you’re not yet of age) to help get yourself in the spirit.
DRUNK ADVICE WITH RIYADH K
Kicking off our list is our all-time favourite Drunk Advice guest: Riyadh Khalaf. We knew going into this video that it would be a riot, we just didn’t know it’d be this crazy. From Hannah’s hilarious reaction to popping open a champagne bottle to the amazing Tinder moment, we found ourselves continuously laughing throughout the video. We also learnt that Adele is the perfect artist to listen to after a breakup and Riyadh is our go-to for kissing advice. (Which we desperately needed.)
Hannah and Riyadh, can we get a sequel to this video, please?
DRUNK ADVICE WITH ROLY
We’d been waiting for Roly West to make an appearance on Drunk Advice, so you can bet we stopped what we were doing when we saw this video appear in our sub boxes.
We actually learnt a lot from this episode, like the fact that you can be in a loving relationship and still get crushes on people, and that restraining orders are perfect for making people leave you alone. Also, can we talk about that tangent at the end? From the discussion of LGBTQ+ rights to aliens and the vast expanse of the universe, it was a whirlwind and we were happy to witness it.
DRUNK ADVICE WITH DANIEL J. LAYTON
Hannah, Emma Watson, and Daniel J. Layton in one video? Yes, please!
If we had to formulate a phrase to describe this episode, it would have to be #OwnIt. From eating bacon and eggs to break a hangover to expressing our feelings to someone we like, Hannah and Dan are letting us know we need to own our actions. Surprisingly, this is actually advice we needed.
However, we wish you hadn’t cut out Dan’s story, Hannah. We could always use more laughter in our lives!
DRUNK ADVICE WITH JACK HOWARD
It’s always a fun time when Jack Howard is around, and this episode of Drunk Advice was no exception.
We never knew Jack and Hannah were filled with so much wisdom. (And passion.) We learnt to never bring up the friend zone to Hannah, lest we want to be lectured, and that jumping means something totally different to kids these days. (We feel so old.) Also, can we talk about Hannah’s imitation of a boy? Totally spot on.
DRUNK ADVICE WITH MELANIE MURPHY
Is there a more perfect guest for Drunk Advice than Melanie Murphy? She’s already open about everything on her channel, so an appearance on the series was bound to happen sooner rather than later.
Things we learned: the first step in gaining control of your life is moving out on your own, and there’s nothing wrong with eating when you’re bored as long as what you’re eating is healthy. Also, Hannah has some major confidence privilege and her clitoris has its own voice. The more you know.
DRUNK ADVICE WITH CALUM MCSWIGGAN
This episode of Drunk Advice is without a doubt one of our faves. It was a mess and we loved every second of it. Not only was Hannah and Calum McSwiggan‘s singing absolutely wicked, but Calum is also the best rapper we know. (We’re still waiting for his mixtape to drop.)
We’re glad they made the decision to not light those pumpkins…
DRUNK ADVICE WITH LEENA NORMS
We know Hannah and Leena Normington are good together, given what we’ve heard on Banging Book Club, so we knew this video would be a treat. And from the Anastasia singalong to learning how to tell your ex is a sociopath, everything about it gave us an even greater love for these two.
Also, we totally share in the pair’s excitement over the DIY straw. Who knew you could have so much fun building a drinking utensil?!
DRUNK ADVICE WITH GRACE VICTORY
Those looking for self-care tips need look no further than this episode of Drunk Advice. From little ways to make yourself feel better to writing down qualities about yourself and keeping a positivity jar, Hannah and Grace Victory are letting us know we need to put ourselves first – and that’s more important than anything else. It’s important advice to take, especially given how busy we all are nowadays.
Also, in case you were looking for a quote to keep yourself inspired, might we suggest the one Grace mentions in this video? “Empowered women empower women.” Catchy and sweet.
DRUNK ADVICE WITH SCOTT HELMAN
YouTubers aren’t the only ones to make appearances on Drunk Advice. Sometimes, celebrities stop by, such as Canadian musician Scott Helman.
Scott and Hannah offer up some pretty important tips in this video: don’t smoke if you want to be a good singer, NEVER stop eating raisins, and always tell someone if they smell. Also, we have to remember no-one can burp as well as Hannah. We may try, but we’ll never be as successful. It’s a true gift.
DRUNK ADVICE WITH MIKE FALZONE
Closing out our list is this video with Mike Falzone, which was the first time Hannah had ever day-drank with a guest on Drunk Advice. As we’re sure you’re aware, Mike is one of the funniest guys around, so we knew this episode would be one to remember.
What did we learn from these two? Well, for starters, drinking helps with procrastination and Hannah doesn’t like to re-watch shows. (We don’t know how she lives.) Also, we might suggest that Mike never attempt a British accent again. We’re not saying it’s bad… Well, we are, but we didn’t want to come right out and say it.
So there you have it…
Our ten favourite episodes of Drunk Advice. We truly love this series and we hope Hannah continues to make it in the future. Who knows? If we’re lucky enough, maybe she’ll feature us on a future episode. As you all know, we’re oodles and oodles of fun!
