Welcome back to the Weekly Round-Up!
Unfortunately, Stephen Colbert and Liza Koshy aren’t here to rewind the past week. However, you do get us, and we would like to think that’s better! *wink wink*
Alright, we can’t compete with their personable charm or stunning wit – but we can give serve up a whole load of good stuff from the last week. Don’t believe us? Well, just read on!
Finale – Watch Me, Wednesday | Carrie Hope Fletcher
On 22 March 2017, Carrie Hope Fletcher uploaded her first Watch Me, Wednesday video. It’s been a crazy ride, being taken along with her throughout the run of the Addams Family musical.
Which is why this week’s upload – the last in the series – had us in tears. We are so unbelievably grateful for Carrie sharing this part of her life with us, and we are sad to see this chapter close. But when one chapter ends, another starts, so we are eagerly standing by to see what’s next.
3 Looks to Try This Season | Grace Victory
YouTubers have been absolutely killing the lookbook game recently, and this week’s video by Grace Victory is no exception. She is a queen, but you guys already knew that!
Her lookbook for this season will will have you grabbing your wallet and running to the shops to get the pieces you don’t already own. If we looked even half as good as Grace in those outfits we’d be pretty damn chuffed with ourselves. Now that’s style inspiration.
My First Time Acrylic Pour Painting – Letting Go Creatively | Minnie Small
We’ve all heard of ASMR, obviously, but did you know that visual ASMR is also a thing? Neither did we, although it does make sense now that we think about it. While Minnie Small probably didn’t intend for this video to be ASMR-esque, for us it totally was.
Listening to Minnie talk about art as a job and hobby while watching her create these beautiful pour-painted pieces instantly calmed us down.
Mulled – Vlogmas Day 5 | Rosianna Rojas
The Christmas lights have been up for weeks. The temperature is dropping. Those of us that are in school are looking forward to the Christmas holidays. And there’s FINALLY snow on the ground. It’s shaping up to not only look like, but FEEL like Christmas.
Rosianna Rojas helps with that feeling. Who knew that watching someone else make mulled wine would warm us up without even drinking any? We sure didn’t expect it. Whether you prefer mulled wine or cider or hot chocolate, grab yourself a cup, cuddle up on the couch, and enjoy this feeling.
How to Annoy Londoners | British English with Joel & Lia
Your alarm didn’t go off this morning, so you’re running a tad behind, but you’ve sprinted to the station. You’re cutting it close, but you’re not late yet. The Tube train stops, you get off, you speed past others and sprint up the escalator to the street, everything going smoothly, and then… the bloody red X. There’s a tourist struggling to get their Oyster card to scan and now there’s congestion at the exit. UGH.
We’ve all been in a similar situation and we aren’t the only ones that get annoyed! This week, Joel Wood and Lia Hatzakis talk about the things people do that annoy Londoners. If you’re from the city yourself, you will relate to a lot of these complaints; if not, but you’re planning on visiting, take notes! *wink*
Want more?
Daniel J. Layton talked with Childline this week about social awkwardness and what one may do to overcome the anxiety of certain situations. We highly recommend you give it a watch, even if it’s just for the dashing good looks of Daniel J. Layton (we always use his full name, it feels weird otherwise. Just us?).
Elisa Spigariol talks about leaving and what it means after you’ve left. We have to admit, this video made us cry.
Holly Murray and Vanessa Rogers covered Louis Tomlinson’s Miss You, which reminded us how much we love not only the two of them but also Louis. WE MISS ONE DIRECTION.
Jack Edwards went to a gig, observed some things, had the time of his life, and then called us the frick out in his newest video. Anyone got any guesses as to what kind of concertgoers the TenEighty HQ team might be?
