Maddie Moate won the Children’s Presenter BAFTA for her work on the CBeebies show Do You Know?
The BAFTA Children’s Awards were held in London on 26 November 2017, and saw many of the UK’s top children’s entertainers recognised for their work in television, film, and more.
What a night! Thank you so much to @Bafta and to all of you for the overwhelmingly kind messages. This one's for my fellow on- screen ladies and all your curious LOs who made this happen #StayCurious x pic.twitter.com/mW8rxdesra

Maddie Moate won the Children’s Presenter Award, beating fellow nominees Christoffer and Alexander van Tulleken from Ouch!, Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes of Big Friday Wind-Up, and Gemma Hunt of Swashbuckle. Maddie’s show Do You Know? – which looks at how everyday objects are made and how they work – was also up for the Pre-School Live Action Award, but lost out to Our Family.
Many YouTubers took to Twitter to congratulate Maddie on the win:
Congratulations Maddie! What an achievement ❤️
