Our Favourite Moments From Phil is not on fire 9

It’s the time of year we’ve all been waiting for…

Yes, that’s right! Grab a Sharpie and your best friend, it’s time for another instalment of Phil is not on fire. Daniel Howell and Phil Lester have yet again donned their cat whiskers and compiled the craziest of Phan questions for what we think is the best video in the series – and when we say crazy, we mean crazy.

From cringe-y selfies to… interesting impressions, Phil is not on fire 9 is everything we wanted and more, and we thought there was no better way to celebrate its release than to share our favourite moments from the video.

Let’s arm-wrestle!

Could there be a better way for the pair to kick off Phil is not on fire 9 than with an arm-wresting match? Well, probably, considering they’re not the biggest fans of exercise, but it happened and it was pretty spectacular. Who won? We don’t want to spoil anything, but let’s just say it was exactly who you’d expect.

(Yes, it was Dan… Sorry, Phil.)

Stranger Things have happened

We didn’t know what to expect when the pair started their reenactment of Stranger Things, but we can now say that Dan’s impression has left us with nightmares. From Phil’s reaction, we’d say he’s going to be having the same ones as us.

Do the crab walk

Dan knew Phil doing the crab walk up the stairs was going to be a bad idea, but would Phil listen? Of course not. And guess what, what Dan (and us) expected to happen did. Poor Phil. Hopefully next time he’ll listen to Dan.

LOLing for days

Oh, Dan, who else did you think Phil would imitate when asked to do so? This was without a doubt the funniest part of the whole video, and we nearly died from laughter.

Poor, Dan. No matter how much he tries, he just can’t escape his old videos…

It’s a tie

Get it? Because the two had a tie-tying race. We’re so funny sometimes…

I’m a weirdo… Just look at my hat

You’d best be on the lookout, Cole Sprouse. If we didn’t know any better, we’d say Dan is trying to steal your spot on Riverdale.

We’re scarred for life

One thing we never thought we’d hear Dan say was, “Hey there, seaman. Want to inspect my gills?” And now that we have, we wish we could turn back the clocks to when we hadn’t. *shiver*

OMG

There’s nothing we love more than seeing the selfies our faves are too embarrassed to show. While Phil’s was definitely worth a laugh or two, we’d definitely say Dan’s is 100 times worse. From the slicked-back hair to the arm cleverly placed over his head, this is a selfie just waiting to be roasted.

Say “cheese”!

Is it just us, or does Dan totally pull off the cheese costume? What are the odds we can get him to wear it more often?

Bread fight

The most random part of the video, as well as the most unpredictable, was definitely the pair’s bread war. Just when we thought Dan had won the battle, Phil swept in with his bread sword to stab him right in the chest and steal the victory. It was truly a battle to remember.

The Ribena challenge

We can’t explain this segment of the video. You have to experience it for yourselves.

Our favourite moments from Phil is not on fire 9. It was truly worth the wait, and we already can’t wait for Phil is not on fire 10 – why does it have to be a year away?!
