Who doesn’t love a good Disney film?
From classics like Sleeping Beauty and Fantasia, to new favourites like Frozen and Moana, Disney holds a special place in the hearts of many, including us here at TenEighty. We still remember going to the cinema to see The Lion King and Mulan, eager to get lost in the next (oftentimes musical) adventure. In fact, we’re actually listening to our Disney playlist while writing this!
You know who else are massive Disney fans? YouTubers! Take one look at your sub box and you’re bound to see a mixture of song covers, movie challenges, and vlogs from various Disney theme parks. Our faves aren’t afraid to share their undying love for Disney, and since we share this bond, we thought it only right to dedicate an article to those who we would classify as Disney fanatics.
So don your Mickey Mouse ears and let’s jump into it!
Carrie Hope Fletcher
If we were to ask you to name a Disney-loving YouTuber, odds are Carrie Hope Fletcher would come to mind. With a channel featuring covers, vlogs, and collabs with fellow Disney fans, Carrie’s videos are a goldmine for Disney lovers. You’ll often see her crying with happiness and getting hugs from many a character in any of her Disney World vlogs, and you’ll definitely get goosebumps from listening to her hit those high notes in her covers. If given the chance, we’re pretty sure she could talk about Disney for hours on end, which we feel is a true sign of a Disney fanatic.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see Carrie playing a Disney princess in the future. With her gorgeous curly hair, kind nature, and jaw-droppingly beautiful voice, she’d be a perfect fit!
Gary C
It’s no secret that YouTube veteran Gary C is a massive Disney fan. One look at his channel provides viewers with everything they need to get their Disney fix, from speed paintings and covers to challenges with fellow Disney fans. He’s also known for doing a Disney Store haul or two, and for visiting the likes of Disney World and Disneyland Paris, leaving us uber jealous – we’d love to meet Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh.
Oh, and have we mentioned his Tsum Tsum collection? It’s HUGE, and features Tsum Tsums from Tangled, Monsters, Inc., Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and more!
Zoella
It’ll come as no surprise to viewers of Zoe Sugg that their fave is a big Disney fan. Not only does she own an adorable pair of mouse ears, but she’s known for indulging in a haul whenever she visits Disney World.
However, what Zoe’s really known for in the Disney world is her Disney Challenge videos with US vlogger Tyler Oakley. For three consecutive years, the pair went head-to-head in the ultimate fan challenge, having to guess the names of Disney songs along with their corresponding films. The videos got pretty heated, and we were certainly impressed with Zoe’s knowledge of Disney songs.
Connie Glynn
Looking for some stellar Disney impressions? Then Connie Glynn‘s channel is the one for you! Connie is known for her kick-ass impressions, and some of our favourites are without a doubt her Disney ones. Honestly, if you were to play her videos while we were blindfolded, we’d think we were actually listening to Mandy Moore say a line as Tangled‘s Rapunzel, or Jennifer Cody playing Lottie from The Princess and the Frog.
Connie is also known for visiting many a Disney park, where you’ll see her wearing the iconic mouse ears and meeting every princess, and leaving each one with so many Disney plushies that we’re pretty sure her room’s filled to the brim with them.
Tom Burns and Jamie Jo
One of the cutest Disney-loving couples around is definitely Tom Burns and Jamie Jo. Not only did the pair get engaged at Disney World, but they also had a Disney-themed wedding, complete with movie-related table centrepieces and a first dance to Toy Story‘s You’ve Got A Friend In Me.
Through their respective YouTube channels, the couple continuously showcase their love for Disney. Jamie is known for regularly basing her paintings around Disney characters, and Tom’s channel has many Disney unboxings. And from the brief glimpses we get of their flat, it looks like each room has its own dose of Disney magic. Sounds like a dream, really.
Pete Bucknall
Closing out our list is Pete Bucknall, who holds a love for Disney that knows no bounds. Not only has he been to Disney World multiple times and even hung out with Lin-Manuel Miranda to help promote the release of Moana, but he’s also known for posting some catchy covers. He and Gary have even dedicated multiple videos of their Pete and Gary Week to Disney-themed videos, including a tag and impressions video.
Also, with his charming good looks and voice, we could totally see him playing Flynn Rider in a live-action version of Tangled.
Are you feeling the Disney magic yet?
We sure are! We don’t think there’s anything we love more than a Disney movie, especially one with a good singalong. If you’re a fellow fan of all things Disney, then we suggest subscribing to all the YouTubers mentioned above. They’re sure to give you your much-needed dose of Mickey Mouse!
