Every now and then, we surprise you.
We know you’re not expecting us to throw curveballs, but every once in a while, we feel it’s necessary. We try to keep you on your toes, which is why last week’s Round-Up was posted on Tuesday.
But fear not! We’re back, and on a Monday. You can stop panicking now, and we can resume our regularly scheduled programming.

Leena Normington said on Twitter, “Jon‘s channel is much like Moby Dick, in that it is a masterpiece that is not being recognised in its time, but will become a classic”, and we couldn’t agree more! Moby Dick reads like it was written before books were invented, and Jon Aitken’s a genius with videos that feel like they’re ahead of their time. We assume you already knew that, though.
This week, Jon brings us yet another introspective video about YouTube and his recent feelings on his relationship with the platform, while celebrating his recent sub-count achievements.
Roasting Our New Hair! ft. SuperSamStuff | NotJustBlonde
We know a video is going to be good when Sam Saffold-Geri and Zannah Perrins are together. What we didn’t know is that it was going to be this good. Seriously, it’s been a while since we laughed so hard at a video! We’re glad that Sam and Zannah can take the piss out of themselves, laugh, and have a good time. Those are the hallmarks of a good YouTuber (and friendship), after all.
Why California’s Musical Road Sounds Terrible | Tom Scott
There’s always something new to learn. For example, we had absolutely no idea that there was a musical highway in California. But now, thanks to Tom Scott, we know that there is, and that it has quite a bit of history too.
Are we the only ones that heard more of When The Saints Come Marching In than Overture?
Keep your eyes on the paper clips… | Steven Bridges
Steven Bridges always manages to blow us away, and his latest video is no exception! This week, he brings us his usual mystifying magic, this time with paperclips and, once again, it blows our minds. Seriously, how does he do it?! We don’t think we’ll be able to look at paperclips the same way again.
September Tour BTS | SarahClose1
You know her, you love her, it’s Miss Sarah Close!
Sarah went on tour earlier this autumn, and while travelling around the UK, she made a fun (and very well put together) little tour video. Some of you may have seen her perform on this tour (and if you did, we’re totes jelly), but now you get an inside look from Sarah’s perspective! Honestly, it feels like we’re right there with her.
Don’t worry, there’s more!
Marzia Bisognin built a maze for her hedgehog, and your heart is going to melt watching him go through it. He’s so cute!
Daniel Howell and Phil Lester have released their very own board game! Earlier this week, they teamed up with Tom Ridgewell and Hazel Hayes to give us a playthrough, and it’s everything you didn’t know your life was missing.
Not all of you may have questions about pregnancy, but some of you might, and thankfully Sebinaah is here to answer all your questions in her recent Q&A.
Matt James uploaded a mini video about change. It may only be a minute long, but the message is so very important.
