Prepare for trouble, and make it double.
Many of us who have siblings are either still stuck in the phase of eternal arguments (in fact, we’d like to use this space to call out our sibling for ALWAYS using our Netflix account) or are BFFs with them. Trust us, only children, there is very little middle ground here. Love or hate them, your siblings play a huge role in your life, which can continue into adulthood: they are, for most people, the only others who will remain with you for the majority of your life.
Today, we’re taking the time to celebrate one of the many YouTube sibling pairs we absolutely adore: makeup and lifestyle queen Zoe Sugg and hilarious prankster Joe Sugg! The duo’s personalities mesh together for some brilliant videos, merch ranges, and all-round quality content, and we simply can’t get enough!
A trip down memory lane…
Looking back on adorable – and mortifying – pictures is one of life’s charms. But when it comes to your siblings, they 100% know the equally adorable (and mortifying) stories behind the pictures and are more than happy to share them. Since it’s never too early to be getting into the Christmas spirit, we’ve chosen this super cute video of Zoe and Joe reacting to their childhood Christmas videos. As funny as Joe’s first outfit is, we’ve got to admit, it foreshadows his future dapper premiere looks…
Innuendo Bingo
Here at TenEighty HQ, we still love a good old game of Innuendo Bingo – it’s an absolute classic! For the uninitiated, the players sit opposite each other with a mouthful of water, which they try not to spit out whilst listening to audio clips featuring out-of-context innuendos. This YouTuber-themed version is not only hilarious, but also made us need to rewatch some of the featured YouTubers with new eyes. (And ears.)
The peg prank
What’s a sibling who doesn’t prank you? A good one, probably. Speaking of, this prank seems like a great way to get our sibling back for that time they “borrowed” our favourite top and brought it back with an irremovable stain… Anyway! When Zoe fell asleep on the sofa, Joe and Alfie Deyes had a competition of who could pin the most pegs on her sleeping form.
It sounds like the perfect alternative to Pin the Tail on the Donkey!
The Makeup Challenge
This video of Joe doing Zoe’s makeup is slightly more… shall we say… extreme than previous videos the pair have made, as Joe hooked himself up to his favourite childbirth simulator while doing his sister’s makeup. The end result is, well, something else. Very, very high fashion.
Their support for each other on social media
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Joe_Sugg

One thing you can always rely on a sibling for is their support. Or their resolute “NO” when you’re about to make a terrible decision. In the Sugg siblings’ case, it’s support all the way! From Zoe cheering on (and laughing at) Joe during his stint on Release the Hounds to Joe’s support for her amazing products, these two always know how to look out for each other.
Sugg Life
How many of us have, at some point, said to our sibling, “We should do our own hoodies”, only to be told it’s a stupid idea? What do you mean it’s probably for the best? Fortunately for us, Joe and Zoe have their very own merch line, including comfy hoodies, phone cases, and stickers. We have to restrain ourselves for the sake of our bank balance every time they come out with something new.
To be fair, our hoodies looked quite terrible in comparison.
We can’t get over how much we want to be the third Sugg sibling.
No, seriously. Admittedly, this may be more difficult than the various best friend groups and relationships we’ve previously tried to invade… And those were definitely successful… Watch this space anyways!
