Pls Like, a satire of YouTube culture, picked up the Best British Series award at the Raindance Web Fest.
Pls Like was published on BBC Three’s YouTube channel, and was a mockumentary following a man’s journey attempting to become a “superstar vlogger”. It starred Liam Williams, Tim Key, Jon Pointing, and Emma Sidi. (TenEighty previously interviewed Williams, also the series’ writer, back in February when the series was already receiving “strong reviews from media publications”.)
The win was announced on the festival’s Twitter:
