Emma Blackery’s debut book Feel Good 101 has charted.
YouTuber, musician, and now bestselling author Emma Blackery has entered the Sunday Times General Bestsellers Chart of September 2017 with her debut book Feel Good 101.
The book, dubbed “The Outsiders’ Guide to a Happier Life”, entered the chart in fourth position. The book is a non-fiction advice title based on a popular series of the same name which began on Emma’s YouTube channel in 2013.
Based on Emma’s own personal experiences, the book explores topics including mental health, friendships, and relationships. “I finished reading the book in a matter of days and I could not put it down,” reviewer Steff Hanson wrote on Amazon, giving the book five stars. “I am 21 years old and I wish that I was able to read this book when I was in school.”
The success of Feel Good 101 comes shortly after the cover artwork of Emma’s Magnetised EP was featured in an Apple presentation last week. This is the first time a UK YouTuber has been featured in an Apple presentation, although Australian singer Troye Sivan was featured in a keynote in 2015.
