Jake Dudman has once again impressed us with his impersonation skills. This time: Star Wars!
Famous on the internet for his uncanny Doctor Who impersonations, and the documentary Save the Rhino Vietnam which was released earlier in 2017, Jake Dudman has proved that his impersonation skills are just as good outside the Doctor Who universe as in it.
Star Wars is the latest franchise to be featured in his impersonation series, following the likes of Harry Potter and High School Musical (which is a crossover which we would love to see Jake write and narrate!).
Watch and you’ll be treated to classics like Yoda and Darth Vader, as well as some more obscure (yet equally hilarious) impressions of Admiral Ackbar and Qui-Gon Jinn. There’s even a scarily good impression of Chewbacca. How long were you practicing that one, Jake?
There’s a mixture of direct quotes from the films, as well as a few that are… a bit different from the original canon. Let’s just say we never expected to hear Palpatine being excited for his “operational” Spotify playlist, or for Obi-Wan Kenobi to be aware of our secret crushes on him.
Whether you’re a fan of Star Wars or not, this is a video guaranteed to make you laugh and is a perfect pick-me-up if ever you’re feeling down.
