Mutiple YouTube creators will be taking part in this year’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser.
The Stand Up To Cancer charitable fundraiser takes place every year. Originally a US event, the UK version was launched five years ago by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
This year’s #StandUpWithYT YouTube live stream will take place on 7 September, and the creators involved will include Oli White, Jack Maynard, Josh Pieters, Scola Dondo, Hannah Witton, Bethan Leadley, Pete Bucknall, LDShadowLady, Riyadh Khalaf, Doug Armstrong, Barry Lewis, the Topless Baker, Niomi Smart, Tom Scott, and Niki and Sammy Albon.

During the four-hour stream, the creators will be raising money for the charity by taking part in different challenges, which will be split into multiple categories: food, lifestyle, gaming, and comedy.
Oli White has stated: “I can’t wait for Stand Up To Cancer with YouTube! I’m hosting an hour of hilarious food challenges, which is going to be messy but it’s for a really incredible cause. Nearly everyone will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives and it’s something I feel really strongly about. My mum had breast cancer and I’m incredibly grateful she received treatment and she’s a survivor, but I know not everyone is so lucky.”
YouTubers raised over £180,000 for Cancer Research UK at the 2016 event, and £120,000 at the 2015 event.
The live stream will take place on the Stand Up To Cancer YouTube channel on 7 September between 5pm and 9pm. Viewers can get involved on Twitter using the hashtag #StandUpWithYT, as well as by donating.
