There’s nothing more exciting than discovering that someone has a talent they’ve been hiding from the world.
From singing to impressions to ridiculous artistic skills, there’s always someone who’s kept their spectacular talent on the DL, and to our delight (and that of their viewers), YouTubers are no exception to this rule. We’ve done some digging and discovered a few creators with some pretty awesome talents.
Be warned, you might be left feeling a tad bit envious – we know we are.
Cherry Wallis
Cherry Wallis is known on YouTube for her love of Harry Potter. However, in case you weren’t aware, she also dabbles in some magic herself – makeup magic, that is!
During the lead-up to Halloween 2016, Cherry shared with us a handful of awesome FX tutorials to get us ready for the spooky night, in which she demonstrated her crazy makeup skills. She can turn herself into pretty much anything – and we mean anything. You name it, Cherry can do it, and we’re totes envious of her talent.
Joe Weller
We all know Joe Weller from his hilarious videos and skits, as well as his pursuits of ghosts in abandoned buildings. But on top of his sense of humour and hunger for adventure, did you know he also produces really (really) good music? If you’re a fan of literally any type of dance music – trance, EDM, electronica, etc – then you should 100% listen to his two house singles, Wanna Do and Mission. We guarantee they’ll have you bopping!
Vikram Barn
Vikram Barn is mostly known for his incredibly popular gaming channel, as well as for being a member of The Sidemen. However, a lesser-known fact about Vik is that he also plays the piano – and is really good at it! He has a couple of videos on his channel that demonstrate his musical talent, using his musical aptitude to play music from popular games such as Final Fantasy and Minecraft.
Pretty cool stuff, if you ask us.
Saffron Barker
Saffron Barker‘s videos are always full of enthusiasm, and we’re all about that! We love her fashion hauls and makeup videos, but we weren’t aware that she also has an AMAZING singing voice! We stumbled upon one of her vlogging channel videos and were blown away by her voice – we have no idea how she does it!
Send over some singing tips, Saffron?
Joe Sugg
Perhaps not the most hidden of talents, but it’s clear that Joe Sugg is the master of impressions. As well as making hilarious videos (and being a bestselling author), Joe was evidently blessed with the power to mimic voices, and occasionally objects. Also, take note of the fact that Joe can also beatbox, with… Wait for it… A straw.
Want to share some of that talent, Joe?
Mike Boyd
It would be completely unfair to write an article about talents and not include Mike Boyd.
Mike’s whole channel is based around his ability to learn new skills within a super short space of time, and documenting the process. We’re honestly convinced that, given enough time, Mike could learn anything we throw at him. His hidden talent is in fact that he can learn any talent, which is equally as mind-blowing as it is mental!
Be right back, we’ve got some practicing to do.
Have these six ever thought about sharing their insane talents around?! We’d like to think we’re talented, but we’re not entirely sure watching a whole TV series in a day counts as a “talent”. (We can pretend though, right?)
