Felix Kjellberg has launched Netglow, a new channel on the streaming site Twitch.
The channel‘s first show, Best Club, started on Sunday 7 April. New episodes will follow weekly, in addition to Felix‘s continued presence on YouTube.
Netglow was first announced in a video called YOUTUBEISOVERPARTY, following the ongoing controversy which has seen multiple organisations pull advertising from YouTube over concerns about the monetisation of hateful or discriminatory content. Felix referred to the problem as “massively overblown”.
He went on to explain that he had wanted to begin his Twitch show before the controversy began, so he instructed the audience to not “read this the wrong way”.
The first episode of Best Club, which is hosted by Felix alongside World of the Orange’s Brad Smith, saw the two discuss Netglow (describing it as a “crowdsourced channel”), taking part in challenges, and introducing weekly segments. Felix compared Netglow’s content to that of Revelmode and the Cringemas live stream that he hosted in December 2016.
