Callum Airey, aka Calfreezy, has teamed up with Brave Bison to form a football team.
UK FIFA YouTuber Callum Airey, aka Calfreezy, has teamed up with digital media and social video broadcaster Brave Bison to launch Rebel FC, a football team consisting solely of creators. The current lineup features creators from varying levels of YouTube popularity, and is a mix of vloggers such as Mike Fox and gamers such as SV2, REEV, and hughwizzy.
The team will be managed by Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United and England player turned BT Sport’s resident football expert. He has also been vlogging and playing FIFA on FIVE’s YouTube channel.
The team will work just like a real football team, even playing matches against other creator-led teams such as Creators FC, led by Andy Castell of AJ3. Alongside the sporting side, the team will be vlogging their progress and building an online community centred around the team.
Our first game vs @fcCreators, who do you think will win? And what will the score be?
