The Creakers, a new book from bestselling author and musician Tom Fletcher, will be released on 5 October.
Tom Fletcher has announced on Instagram that his latest children’s novel is available to preorder now. The Creakers is described as a “darkly magical new story about the monsters under the bed”, and is suitable for ages seven and up.
The story revolves around a young girl named Lucy Dungston, who wakes up one morning to discover that all the grown-ups in her town have disappeared.
Tom also appears in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel announcing the new novel. Directed by David Spearing, the clip features Tom reading to one of his children, before the camera delves under the bed.
Tom has previously written bestselling novel The Christmasaurus, as well as The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas and The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet, which he co-wrote with fellow McFly band member Dougie Poynter. This is the second upcoming project Tom has announced recently, after There’s A Monster In Your Book.
The Creakers is available to pre-order from Amazon, Waterstones, and WHSmith ahead of its release on 5 October 2017.
