Lucy and Lydia Connell will be taking over @TwitterUK to cover Niche and Twitter’s International #CreatorDay.
Niche’s second International #CreatorDay will be taking place at the Twitter offices in London on 25 February. Focusing on live broadcasting, the event will feature discussion and workshops on everything from building and maintaining your career online, to how to make your social format work for TV.
Speakers include Hazel Hayes, Oli White, Niki and Sammy Albon, and Josh Pieters. A full list of activities can be found here.
Lucy and Lydia will be the digital hosts for #CreatorDay over on @TwitterUK. “We are so excited to be taking over Twitter for #CreatorDay on Saturday!” Lydia tells TenEighty. “We will be chatting to fellow creators re all things social media, as well as giving our audiences an insight into what it’s like to be a creator in this industry.”
“All the creators on the panel make completely different content, so it will be really interesting to hear what they do and if they have any advice or tips for other growing creators,” adds Lucy.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing Samantha Harvey‘s acoustic performance,” she continues, “we love her voice!”

This event will be the twins’ first time live broadcasting for the @TwitterUK handle. When asked what they enjoy most about broadcasting live, they say: “We love the fact that it’s live and we can get feedback straight away from our audience watching, it’s so much fun!”
