The Best of Caspar Lee’s BRITs 2017 Live Stream

Caspar Lee absolutely killed it presenting from behind the scenes at the BRITs.

It seems like only yesterday we were casting our ballots for this year’s awards season, but the time has finally come and the results are in. And this year, the BRIT Awards were brought to international viewers with a live stream hosted by a dapper-looking Caspar Lee.

Unfortunately, UK viewers were blocked from the stream and could only watch the BRITs on ITV. How dare they force us to endure yet another Tesco advert?! So for all those who missed Caspar’s live stream, here’s some of our (and the internet’s) favourite moments.

The return of Winston

Having arguably stolen the show for the past two years, Winston the tiger made a return to our screens to accompany Caspar for his first live stream. Between a flower from Phil Lester and a hug from Caspar we’re not sure which we’d prefer.

Throughout the stream we met many new incarnations of the man we know as Caspar (no, he’s not dressing up as Alexa Losey again). These included an alternate-universe Beyoncé, and his future self – much to delight of viewers and the horror of Winston.

Personally, we’re not too sure about that blonde wig, but Caspar somehow made it work.

One Direction

Is it stalking if you’ve stored their breath in a time capsule and inhaled it? Or should we just assume that Caspar intends to clone them? Whichever it is, Caspar gave tribute to the now-broken-up (sorry, sorry, “on hiatus“) One Direction.

UK viewers weren’t happy…

The live stream was blocked in the United Kingdom, and we weren’t the only ones scouring the internet for, er… alternative viewing methods.

Overall, the BRITs live stream looked like great fun, with Caspar falling naturally into the role of host, and we hope to see him back next year. Fortunately, the fun of awards season is not over yet, with the Oscars still to come on 26 February. No YouTubers presenting there, unfortunately!
