Scribble is an hour-long show consisting of group’s trademark improvised comedic storytelling and songs. It will be performed against a constantly-evolving live backdrop created by guest illustrators and animators.
“Our artist uses an overhead projector to bring the audience suggestions to life, and the first time they see them is also the first time we see them,” Conor tells TenEighty. “It’s pretty fast-paced, and we all come off stage knackered!”
YouTuber and animator Ed Stockham will be creating the illustrated backdrops for the two performances. “With Ed Stockham’s illustrations into the mix and we’re really going to explore ideas that we could never come up with if we tried to sit down and write,” says Conor.
“The location and venues are amazing, and the team there have done such a great job putting the whole thing together. To top it all off, we’re we’re playing alongside theatre and comedy genius. It’s all very inspiring.”
Scribble will be performed at VAULT Festival on 1 and 5 February, with tickets available for purchase here.
