We love a nostalgic Twitter trend…

So #2006vs2016 has been trending on Twitter and we saw how our favourite YouTubers transformed from little ducklings into the beautiful internet swans that we know and love. Here are a few of our favourites. Get ready to play Spot the Difference between then and now!

Zoe Sugg

The awkward teen emerged from her hoodie and blossomed into the beauty queen of YouTube! The fringe stayed through the years but now her eyebrow game is on point. Get it, Zoe Sugg!

Niki Albon

So Niki Albon posted this photoset on Twitter but we can’t be the only ones who can’t tell the difference. It’s just the same photo twice, isn’t it? Weird.

Bry

The boy has become a man(kini-wearing beanstalk). We think Bry should definitely bring back the NSYNC over-gelled hair. *does weird pointing movement back at him*

Rosie Spaughton cut her hair but we think she looks the same? She must have discovered the magic of eternal youth and beauty – someone get her secrets!

Ten years on, Tom Ridgewell is still mad – just with stronger eyebrows and in higher quality (the photo looks familiar, was it possibly taken for a fantastic online magazine dedicated to YouTube and internet culture? Who knows).

Oh Emma Blackery. That fat tie knot to show you were a cool kid. Don’t worry, we all did that too. Now, Emma’s a gorgeous musician killing it on stage and doesn’t need a tie to show how cool she is. Although it could come back into fashion?
