Did you know that there’s only one month until Christmas?
We’ve officially entered the festive season, and there’s no better way to celebrate than to visit Hogwarts! On Thursday night, loads of our faves attended the annual #HogwartsInTheSnow event at the Warner Bros Studio Tour near London, and what resulted was a truly magical time.
From the snow-covered grounds to the Great Hall decked to the max with decorations, not to mention the endless amounts of Butterbeer, it was a night for Potterheads to come together and celebrate the holiday season in one of the best places in the wizarding world. So of course we had to round up the night for you!
Like we’ve said, Harry Potter is a family affair
— Zoe London (@zoelondondj) November 24, 2016
We’ve said it time and time again that Harry Potter truly is a family affair – just ask Zoe London. Our love for the world J.K. Rowling has created defies generational divides, and that’s truly a magical thing.
Getting into character
— Lex Croucher (@lexcanroar) November 24, 2016
Leave it to Lex Croucher to get into character for the event. We truly admire her dedication.
Applause all around!
All aboard the Hogwarts Express!
— Brogan Tate (@brogantatexo) November 24, 2016
No matter how hard we try, we can never seem to make it through the barrier onto Platform 9 3/4 – and no, it’s totally not because we’re Muggles…
Brogan Tate, can you help us out?
You know, just a casual night at Hogwarts
Sophie Belle, you have no idea how jealous we are right now. You look right at home at Hogwarts.
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
— Liam Dryden (@LiamDrydenEtc) November 24, 2016
Liam Dryden, we feel like you might be mixing two different worlds here, but we don’t blame you. If we had the chance to take over the Godric’s Hollow gym, we totally would.
P.S. We’re super jealous of your Ditto. We have yet to catch one and it’s reduced us to tears.
Embrace your inner ice skater
Is it just us or has Pete Bucknall potentially found his new calling?
Even Slytherins can get into the festive spirit
— Gary C (@oohgaryc) November 25, 2016
Christmastime has the ability to bring out the best in everyone, even those sneaky Slytherins, as our friend Gary C has pointed out.
I’ve got something in my eye…
Tonight was honestly so magical, I cried at #HogwartsInTheSnow ❄️
— Cherry Wallis (@CherryWallis) November 24, 2016
We’re not going to lie, we probably would have had the same reaction as Cherry Wallis if we got to experience Hogwarts at Christmas. It looks magical.
*infinite heart-eye emojis*
Christmas can finally start!
— ✨ Amy Jane 🎠 (@heyamyjane) November 25, 2016
#HogwartsInTheSnow is pretty much the unofficial start to Christmas for us Potterheads, including Amy Pocock, which means we’re now allowed to be the festive witches and wizards we’ve been waiting to be all year!
All aboard! The Hogwarts Express is leaving the station.
This holiday season, we suggest you all huddle in front of the fire with your favourite Harry Potter book and dive into the adventures of your favourite boy wizard. While not all of us can experience Hogwarts during Christmas, we can relive the stories that helped shape who we are as people, and that’s just as good… However, we wouldn’t say no if we got an invite to next year’s event, Warner Bros.
