It’s Halloween week, so you know we’re about to get SPOOPY!
In proper TenEighty fashion, we’ve already opened the Halloween sweets and set ourselves the task of binge-watching all the amazing Halloween videos released this October (spoiler alert: there were a lot). From costume ideas to baking videos and even some amazing puns, we’ve been spoiled with some fantastic Halloween content this year.
So here they are, Five More of the Best: Halloween 2016!
SKULL | Halloween Makeup Tutorial – Cherry Wallis
While Cherry Wallis normally creates gorgeous makeup looks throughout the year (she’s the reason we look so fab), she definitely pulls out all the stops for Halloween. This skull makeup tutorial is just the first of her month-long series of amazing Halloween looks, and we love that it’s such a simple yet stunning optical illusion!
Cherry’s fantastic explanations also make us feel like we have the potential to look just as fabulous and spooky as her this Halloween. Never mind that we might be scrubbing paint out of our ears and nose for days – if we can look this cool, it’ll totally be worth it!
The Story of Jennifer on Halloween Night – Evan Edinger
Never failing to deliver enthralling storytimes and seasonal puns, Evan Edinger has come out with this strange (and oddly captivating) story. Hey, as well as inspiring us all to dress as spoopy monsters, Halloween has also been known to evoke strange stories and even stranger people.
Jennifer certainly sounds like she could be a character from a Washington Irving story. Maybe not as scary as a headless horseman, but she certainly sounds like someone we wouldn’t want to meet in a kitchen at a party. Here’s hoping (for ourselves and Evan) that Halloween 2016 won’t greet us with any stories as uncomfortable as this one about Jennifer.
HORROR MOVIES TO WATCH THIS HALLOWEEN! – Mark Ferris
If the previous two videos aren’t getting you in the Halloween spirit, then Mark Ferris‘s terrifying film suggestions sure will. From Cabin in the Woods to The Conjuring to the cult classic Scream, Mark has put together a fantastic list of horror films that will have you laughing, crying, and triple-checking you’ve locked the front door.
We definitely recommend grabbing that Halloween onesie you picked up from Primark and opening those Halloween chocolates early because this horror film starter pack is so good that you’ll be wishing it was October all year long! Actually, that would be great. Who do we talk to about getting a year long Halloween? We want an excuse to go to work dressed as bats and dinosaurs every day!
How To Bake Halloween Cake Pops – Tanya Burr
But TenEighty, what if I’m hosting a Halloween party and need some great recipes? We’re glad you asked, because Tanya Burr‘s got you covered!
If we weren’t already in a splendid sugar coma from all of the Halloween sweets we ate watching Mark’s movie suggestions, we certainly will be after eating these pumpkin cake pops. Autumn spices, white chocolate, and edible glitter – what could be better?!
Maybe we’ll learn how great we are at making cake pops. Who knows, we might be able to convince Mel, Sue, and Mary to return to The Great British Bake Off (please, come back). With a little help from Tanya, we may yet be able to save our mum’s favourite show… It might also have been ours too.
Autumn & Halloween Home Haul – Zoella
Who better to help decorate our houses for Halloween than the one and only Zoe Sugg? Glittery pumpkins, Game of Thrones-style spider bowls, and hanging bats – our house is sure to become a real-life Halloweentown!
Zoe, when it comes to autumn and Halloween decorations, there’s no such thing as going too far! The more skull tumblers, cobwebs and bunting we can put around our rooms the more we get to appreciate the Halloween season.
Seriously guys, how can we make Halloween a year-long event?
So there you have it…
No matter what your plans are for Halloween, your YouTube friends have a ton of great tips for helping you make the most of your favourite holiday! Jump in that fantastic costume we know you’ve been planning for months and start your Halloween marathon.
