Hello? Did you say something?
Sorry, we can’t quite hear you under the layers of hats and scarves we’ve started to wear in preparation for winter. Yep, the temperature’s going down, the annual battle of the thermostat is beginning (we vote turning that heating UP!), and the hot chocolates are flowing.
If you haven’t already, cocoon yourself in blankets and settle in for some of the best videos from the last week!
Lady Gaga Acapella Medley (Voice Orchestra) – duncandoo
You know what’s a great way to warm yourself up on a cold autumnal evening? Dancing. And you know who’s music is great to dance to? Lady Gaga’s.
Okay, this question-answer thing perhaps doesn’t work quite so well when it’s written out like that, but trust us, Duncan Carter had done a bloomin’ amazing medley of not two, not four, not eight, but SIXTEEN of Gaga’s greatest hits to celebrate the release of her new album. Go and watch it, and then thank us later.
14 cities in 5 weeks – peppermillietea
If you’re missing the summer, then this video from Millie Johnston is either going to REALLY help you or just make you feel all the more nostalgic. If it’s the latter, we’re sorry, but we promise it’ll be worth it once you’ve watched this!
Millie has very kindly taken us with her on this very nicely put together film of her trip around Europe with a couple of friends. If anyone needs us, we’ll be packing our bags for our own trip…
Dan and Phil’s Tour Bus Tour – AmazingPhil
Unfortunately, none of us were actually able to be on tour with Dan Howell and Phil Lester. Fortunately, being the lovely people that they are, they’ve given us a tour of their tour bus. Bit meta? Perhaps, but we’ve been wondering how they survived on the road, and now we know!
Not only that, but this is a little teaser clip from their tour documentary, Dan and Phil’s Story of TATINOF, which is available on YouTube Red. And as if this wasn’t enough, there’s also a 360° VR backstage video up on Dan’s channel. They really are spoiling us…
RENAMING ANIMALS w/ Carrie Hope Fletcher – PetesJams
Quick, somebody get David Attenborough on the phone because Pete Bucknall and Carrie Hope Fletcher have been renaming animals, and “Poo Fling Swing Thing” may be one of the best things we’ve heard. Ever. With “Monochrome Veggie Floof” coming a close second.
Not a clue what we’re talking about? Well, you’re missing out! And FYI, our favourite animal is the Happy Running Wag Wag… Actually, that may need more work. Maybe we should leave it to the experts!
Bruno Mars | 24K Magic | ACAPELLA COVER – Cameron Sanderson
“But TenEighty,” we hear you say. “TenEighty, you’ve already put an a capella cover in this week’s Round-Up!”
And to that we say: you can NEVER have too many a capella covers. It’s been scientifically proven. And it just so happens that two great ones landed in our subscription feed this week, so we were somewhat spoiled for choice – and we couldn’t resist putting this one from Cameron Sanderson in this week’s article.
Are we sorry? Of course not. We’re far too busy dancing around TenEighty HQ.
Want a little more?
We love Lucy Moon‘s 168 Hours vlogs, and her most recent one has given us some serious travel envy, as she takes us with her to meet her family in Trinidad. Lucy, can you take us in your suitcase with you next time?
Tom Ridgewell has released a brand new sketch and it features an appearance from the one and only Hedy Clark. Why is it that genies never grant you unlimited wishes?
Like many other internet-dwelling folk, we love cats, and luckily for us, Lex Croucher has just adopted the cutest little kitty AND documented the process for us, which is basically enabling us to live vicariously through her.
Last but certainly not least, Bry is about set off on tour with Twenty One Pilots and Candice has been quizzing him about the tour whilst he drives, does his washing, dances…. you name it! Good luck, Bry, and send us some postcards, please? Better yet, can we come along with you?
