Chris Kendall and PJ Liguori were among the winners of the 2016 Streamy Awards.
PJ Liguori‘s Vimeo-hosted series, Oscar’s Hotel for Fantastical Creatures, won three Streamy Awards at the 2016 ceremony, which took place at the Beverley Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles. The awards were given to Chris Kendall for Best Actor, and PJ Liguori for Best Director and Best Costume Design.

The Slow Mo Guys (Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy) were also among the winners, receiving the award for Best Cinematography.
The Streamys showcase “the best in online video and the creators behind it. The annual event brings together the biggest names in YouTube and online video for a night of celebration, discovery, and meaningful recognition.”
During Chris’s acceptance speech, he said: “Wow, this is amazing. I never win anything, thank you so much, this is incredible. Thanks to KickThePj and his team for creating an original and surreal show, and casting me in it. Thanks to everyone at New Form Digital for being so passionate and dedicated to online creators. Thanks to the Streamys for rewarding creators who take risks. Thanks to Her Royal Majesty the Queen for being my acting tutor for four years, and of course thanks to the fans as without those guys the show would not have been made.”
