We can all agree that Jim Chapman and Tanya Burr are one of the cutest – if not the cutest – couples on YouTube.
From collab videos to fashion events, movie premieres to adorable Instagram snaps, the couple have stolen the hearts of viewers and made themselves a part of our lives. We can’t remember a time when YouTube didn’t have Jim and Tanya. Must’ve been really boring though.
Since we’re clearly *slightly* obsessed, what better way to celebrate their love than to share why Janya are the ultimate #RelationshipGoals?
If you didn’t love them before, you will now. Trust us.
1. The awkward first date
We all know how nerve-wracking first dates are. Do we go for a meal or to the cinema? Should I hold their hand or kiss them? Ew, why am I sweating so much? But it turns out Jim and Tanya have been there before too.
Well, when we say Jim and Tanya, we really mean Jim. We know, it’s hard to imagine a time when Jim wasn’t the confident guy we know and love today, but back then, Jim was just like the rest of us: nervous about impressing his date.
Let us set the scene. It’s 2006, and Jim and Tanya have met at a house party. For their first date, they’ve gone to the movies. Throughout the entire film, Jim worries over whether he should kiss Tanya or hold her hand. As the date winds down, the couple are waiting at the bus stop and Jim has yet to kiss Tanya. Will they, won’t they? There’s so much suspense!
Thankfully, Tanya revealed all the details in this video. She’s allowed to kiss and tell. We said so.
2. They’ve been together for ten years!
Who would have thought that the awkward first date would turn into ten years of unbreakable love? Seriously, it’s a story right out of the films!
Jim and Tanya have been together for ten years, through moving in together to becoming engaged to eventually being married and being the parents to possibly the cutest dog in the world. Their love is unbreakable and it melts our hearts.
Where can we find someone who loves us as much as they love each other?
3. Jim wouldn’t be on YouTube without Tanya
You know what’s sad? When YouTubers private their first videos. How do they expect us to create accurate listicles when we can’t watch the cringe and awkwardness that is the introduction video?
Rant aside, did you know that Jim would never have created his YouTube account if it hadn’t been for Tanya? Imagine a YouTube without Jim! It just wouldn’t be the same…
Tanya encouraged Jim to start his channel and he actually wanted to create one to support Tanya. If that doesn’t have you saying “aww” then we don’t know what will. A true YouTube love story.
4. Christmastime
A true Janya fan knows that Christmas is the couple’s favourite time of the year, and it’s when they truly become the ultimate #RelationshipGoals.
Whether they’re filming Christmas collabs, switching on the lights in Norwich, or getting engaged in Central Park, Jim and Tanya truly embody the Christmas spirit and we look forward to their Vlogmas videos every year!

5. Martha
LOOK AT THOSE EYES.
True Fact: A relationship isn’t really a relationship until you buy a pet that will inevitably become your whole world. If you look at Jim’s Instagram, it’s safe to say that Martha has become just that.
You better be careful, guys. We might have to steal her from you when you’re not looking. TenEighty HQ needs a furry companion and she’s just so adorbz!
6. And finally, the fairytale wedding
We couldn’t end this post without including their big day, which we’re dubbing “The Fairytale Wedding”.
A true testament of the couple’s love, Jim and Tanya got married among a crowd of their closest family and friends, which included Zoe Sugg, Marcus Butler, and Alfie Deyes. Both looked absolutely stunning (do you see Tanya’s dress?!), and our hearts literally skipped a beat when we found out the two had finally tied the knot. Actual goals.
Love was definitely in the air that day, and we so wish we could have been there. Imagine a TenEighty Magazine exclusive wedding cover shoot – starring Jim and Tanya! N’awh.
