Now, you may be thinking, “Wait, TenEighty goes on a summer holiday extravaganza?!” Well, not yet, but after recently falling into a magical Disney-themed video vortex, we definitely want to plan one!

A five, six, seven, eight, here they are! Five of the Best: Disney-Inspired Videos!
Disney Villains Evil Queen Transformation – ElectraSnow
If you haven’t met Electra Snow, get ready to fall in love. Electra has an entire series devoted to Disney villain makeup tutorials, each one more magnificent than the last. The purple eye shadow is this Snow White-inspired look is so on point that we just had to include it!
We’re pretty sure Electra is harnessing that Disney magic to make this amazing transformation. If we tried this look without her help, we would probably end up looking like one of the 101 Dalmatians. We’ve only ever seen eyelashes that amazing on Snuffleupagus, and his aren’t nearly as fabulous.
Is it possible to upstage the professional characters at Disney? We’re positive we will with this look!
Come Along With Me: Disney Edition! – Gabriella
Next up is this marvellous video from Gabriella Lindley! Through our Disney video vortex, we’ve seen a lot of Disneyland vlogs, but this one is definitely one of our absolute favourites. If you’ve ever been to Disneyland, you’ll know that their attention to detail is impeccable, and Gabby captures that perfectly. If you’ve unfortunately never been (we feel for you, we really do), just live vicariously through this video.
It’s so difficult to recreate the atmosphere at Disneyland, but with the music and editing Gabby helps us feel so close to the magic that it’s as if we’re at the park ourselves! Seeing those Disney fireworks will always make us feel like little kids again. Big Thunder Mountain will always be our go-to Disney ride, too!
Disney Tag REDUX! | Pete and Gary Week – petesjams
What’s more adorable than thinking about little kids high-fiving Buzz Lightyear at a Disney park? Only Pete Bucknall and Gary C doing the Disney tag, of course! It is undeniable these two are probably the most diehard Disney fans we’ll ever meet, and hearing stories of their first times at Disneyland had us feeling incredibly nostalgic. We remember crying when we met Mickey for the first time too, Pete!
This video also had us considering who our Disney best friends would be. It was pretty hard to narrow down, but we think we’ll have to go with Aladdin on this one. We mean, he does have that magic carpet after all! And Gary, The Little Mermaid is definitely our favourite film as well. How can you go wrong with amazing red hair like that? Trick question – you can’t.
DISNEY VS 50 SHADES OF GREY CHALLENGE – More Marcus
Okay, Marcus Butler, you win. This is genius.
We’ve always known Disney has a dark side, but we didn’t know it could be so indistinguishable from erotic fiction, or that Kaa and Winnie the Pooh were both voiced by Sterling Holloway. We’ll never be able to hear “Oh, bother” the same way again! We were also pretty surprised that Fifty Shades of Grey would throw in a reference to the Greek myth of Icarus. That’s definitely something we’d expect to hear in Hercules!
That 6/8 is impressive, Marcus, but we’re still shocked you missed that Little Mermaid reference. Then again, it is our favourite Disney flick, so we might be a little biased.
Bare Necessities | Disney Cover –ItsWayPastMyBedTime
To finish off our list, we have to go with YouTube’s Merida, the ultimate real-life Disney princess, Carrie Hope Fletcher! As we’re sure you know, Carrie has put together some amazing Disney covers over the years. This one might be more stripped back, but that’s why we think it works so perfectly.
Paired with a list of her personal “bare necessities”, Carrie reminds us that a bit of silliness, some love and, of course, some tea and sweets are all we really need. And at the end of the day, isn’t that what Disney is all about? A little bit of love, a touch of silliness and a bit of magic!
So there you have it…
Five of the Best: Disney-Inspired Videos. We don’t know about you, but all we want to do right now is dance with Mary Poppins’s penguins and learn a new Disney song on the the uke! So grab those Mickey Mouse ears and show off that Disney pride!
