Dan Middleton will be releasing his debut graphic novel, Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal, in October.
Dan has teamed up with an illustrator to create the book. Written by Dan, it will feature well-loved characters from his channel such as Trayaurus, Denton, and his skeleton dog companion, Grim.
The story begins with a crystal falling to earth and shattering into five pieces which are scattered across the world. DanTDM and Traysaurus discover a crystal shard and realise that it is an incredibly powerful object. Another shard is found by a group of pigs, who use its power to enable them to talk.
DanTDM and Trayaurus soon discover that Denton, their arch-enemy, is also in possession of a crystal shard. He is using a cloning machine to produce an army who will hunt down the remaining crystals and make him all-powerful.
“It’s going to be a race against time for me, Trayaurus, Grim and loads of other awesome characters to track down the other parts of the crystal before Denton gets his evil, grubby mitts on them,” said Dan.
As reported by The Bookseller, Dan said: “I am so excited to finally be able to take the characters I have created and evolved in my videos on new adventures in my first book. To see them brought to life outside of the gaming world is really exciting for me and I hope equally so for my followers.
“Writing this book not only gives me a new way to tell stories to fans, but a new way to meet them via book tours and signing sessions.”

Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal will be released on 6 October in the UK, and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
