Lifestyle and beauty vlogger Niomi Smart will be releasing Eat Smart in early autumn.
Niomi Smart has announced that her healthy eating cookbook will be published by HarperCollins on 8 September. Titled Eat Smart, it will contain over 100 plant-based recipes covering all the meals of the day, as well as snacks, desserts, and drinks. Some of the recipes have been inspired by the travelling Niomi has done, and the book will also include some British classics.
Discussing the cookbook in her announcement video, Niomi stated that creating Eat Smart was “the most exciting part of my life” and that it felt “harder than studying my law degree”. She explained that the inspiration for the book came from the success of the plant-based recipes posted on her blog and featured in her videos. She went on to thank viewers for their support.
Speaking about the book, Dom Smales, Managing Director of Gleam Futures, said: “Niomi has carved out a strong niche for herself amongst lifestyle bloggers, with millions of people watching her What I Eat In A Day videos and recreating her recipes. Niomi’s passion for healthy food is inspiring and everyone at Gleam is thrilled that she us able to share that with the world through her first cookbook.”
To help promote Eat Smart, Niomi encouraged viewers to tweet support and questions using #EatSmart, with the hashtag eventually trending on Twitter. The book is currently available for pre-order via Amazon, with the first 2000 copies being signed by Niomi herself.
