Is it just us who’ve started stockpiling Easter eggs? It is only a week away after all…
If you’re at that stockpiling stage too, chances are you need a distraction to stop you eating them before Easter. Because everyone knows you can’t eat an Easter egg until at LEAST Good Friday, right?
Luckily for you, it’s TenEighty to the rescue yet again with another load of videos. We’re so good to you. And this definitely isn’t a diversion tactic so that we can steal the last of the Mini Eggs for ourselves in the meantime. Of COURSE not, we’re good people…
Erm, anyway. On with the videos?
The Eddsworld Legacy (Documentary) – Dark Squidge
We couldn’t possibly let this week go by without a nod to the Eddsworld Legacy documentary that went up on Tom Ridgewell‘s Dark Squidge channel this week, coinciding with the final episode of Eddsworld. This was originally made as a perk for Indiegogo donators as a behind-the-scenes look into Eddsworld, and we TenEighty folk are very pleased it’s now made its way to a wider audience.
We posted a full feature on Eddsworld if you want to learn even more about it, but we would definitely recommend taking out 40 minutes of your day to have a watch of the documentary too.
Little Ways I Deal With Anxiety – Melanie Murphy
Melanie Murphy may be in the midst of sorting visas for her big move to the USA, but she’s still managed to put together his really useful guide to the little ways she deals with her anxiety. It’s a great combination of personal anecdotes and some pretty thorough research, all of course delivered in Melanie’s friendly and honest style.
Content like this almost makes us wish we could keep her to ourselves – and on this side of the pond – forever, but alas, that would be selfish of us. So go conquer those visas Melanie, the world really is your oyster!
Friend Like Me – Trailer – Sammy Paul
Ooh, the trailer for Sammy Paul‘s Friend Like Me is here and we’re EXCITED. Friend Like Me is one of the third round of New Form Digital’s Incubator projects, and with a stellar cast including Bertie Gilbert, Chris Kendall, and Tom Ridgewell, it looks like an absolute corker.
There’s lots more news on this (and the rest of Incubator 3) to come, so keep checking back for more, and of course, make sure you’re subscribed to Sammy to see the full film in April!
VIDEO FOUR: One of Those Things – Tom Rosenthal
Video four in the roundup is….
Video four! We didn’t do that deliberately. Promise. *cough*.
We’ve been big fans of Tom Rosenthal‘s music for a long time now, and even if you don’t know his name, chances are you’ve heard his music in a fair few videos and short films over the last few years. Recently, he’s delved into the world of vlogging, and we are oh so glad he has! Each vlog features a song of the same title as the vlog and a story from the outro chair, all of which comes together to make a very relaxing few minutes indeed.
Not a Real Dog – Radhaggis
It’s all been a bit serious round here this week, and what better way to get rid of the seriousness than with a creepy doll, a little bit of Monet, and a dog-that’s-not-a-real-dog, right? Anyone? Just us?
Okay, let’s step back a bit. Sometimes, all you need in life is a straight-up, good old-fashioned vlog, and that’s just what Ewan McIntosh has got for us. That, and a very 1980s iPhone case. (Just please, please don’t bring that doll to London. You can bring the dog though. Dogs are always welcome.)
Okay, okay, we’ll share our mini eggs. And a few more videos too…
Grace and Amelia Mandeville moved their living room into the woods in the name of a lookbook, y’know – as you do. We do wonder what their neighbours thought… but we are seriously impressed at the furniture moving shaped dedication!
Daniel J. Layton and Carrie Hope Fletcher stepped into the kitchen for a (very highly requested) episode of Baking with Layton, and it was well worth the wait, as we laughed ourselves silly watching it!
And finally, Bethan Leadley did NOTHING to stop our obsession with The 1975 with this gorgeous cover of Somebody Else!
