Cherry Wallis won the UK Favourite Breakthrough Vlogger award at the 2016 Nickelodeon KCAs, as announced during the ceremony’s UK transmission on 13 March.
Cherry was nominated for the award alongside Chai Cameron, Raphael Gomes, Sam King, Jazzybum, and Connie Glynn. The award is among several that see YouTubers being recognised by the mainstream media, with the Teen Choice Awards in the US and the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in the UK having introduced similar categories over the past few years.
