Does anyone in the UK actually know what Thanksgiving is all about? We sure don’t.
Unconfirmed sources suggest it marks the rising of Mariah Carey from her 11-month hibernation, though from our own observations it seems to be some kind of warm-up eating event that preludes Christmas Day itself.
This year’s Thanksgiving did, however, produce a rather lovely hashtag that gave lots of YouTubers across the world the excuse to express sentiments straight from the heart. Firstly, our beloved American-turned-English-pun-master:
#ImThankfulFor my friends, my education, my job, and all of you :)
— Evan DEADinger (@EvanEdinger) November 26, 2015
So pure, sincere and truly in the spirit of things – Evan Edinger is an example for us all. Then the UK YouTubers started trying to join in.
#ImThankfulFor my bed. I love my bed with all my heart. One day, when it's legal for humans to marry inanimate objects, I will wed my bed.

Always striving – and managing – to think outside of the metaphorical content box, there’s a lot we can read into this. What is Tom Ridgewell referring to? Hearing Adele on the radio every single minute of the day; the imminent onslaught of vlogmas videos; life? We’re here for you regardless, dude.
And then, dear readers, there was Bry.
Happy Tom Hanksgiving, everyone.
I am grateful for his handsome smile.— Bry 🐼 (@BryOnTour) November 26, 2015
Bry has a lot of things to be thankful for. Like, a lot.
#ImThankfulFor the genius that invented vegan pizza.
And friends family wife lalala— Bry 🐼 (@BryOnTour) November 26, 2015
#ImThankfulFor being tall.
And knowing that's it's raining before anyone else.— Bry 🐼 (@BryOnTour) November 26, 2015
#ImThankfulFor eyeliner,
for deceiving the general public into thinking I'm half decent looking.— Bry 🐼 (@BryOnTour) November 26, 2015
Even we got in on the Thanksgiving action with our little poll.

So, anyone want to own up to putting Zalfie above their family and friends? Shame on you and your priorities.
